Raising by $1 is for the long term.

 

Reducing the ERP for school holidays is only a couple of months,

they do it every year,

after that it returns to the +$1 state.

Increase in permanent, but reduce in school holiday is short term.... see the different?

And the gahment still encourage pple to go home early to boost the birth rate.... and these same group of pple still get penalised..... Ironic!!!
