My kids are 4YO and 13 months.

Actually all NHB museums are free la, just happen that for ACM the walking distance from raffles place mrt is very short, thus we went there. BTW, I do take public transport on weekends. [laugh]

MCF family day out? When? This weekend? [laugh]

vomit blood after talking to the pinoy CSO of UOB CC.

Made a mistake in the payment last mth. Over paid for 1 CC n underpaid for the other and they charge me a late payment interest. Call in to ask to waive off but spend abt 10 min explaining to the pinoy CSO to make her understand...... at the end, tell me sorry she miss out on 1 payment date  . The fact is, I didnt owe UOB any $, so why they charge me interest  So inflexible....... dun have this kind of prob w other banks <_< Plus the fact that i trying to explain to the CSO so that she understand. She keep insisting the amt does not tally.

we are getting used to ...

the nvr-seems-ending dialogue menu, press 1 or English, press 2 for Chinese....

the music, while holding the call as we know our call is impt to them...

the long wait becos we cannot wait for 5 working days (up to) for the CSO to response when u leave your voice message...

repeating the above if our call was hung up accidentally..

believe me, soon we will get used to ...

speak like an old man, repeating the facts over n over again...

having syndrome llike an old man, more frequent high blood pressure...

behave like an old man, beginning to doubt if it's our fault when the CSO insisted their correctness...

giving up hope on everything, and live on with whatever comes along...

and I dunno if I will know how to respond if this will happen someday:

"what can I help you today, Sir?" (when my call was picked up instantly)

Football Manager 2012: First details announced

Posted by Thomas Tamblyn on Mon 15 Aug 2011

Football Manager 2012 is coming and it's more distracting than ever before offering over 800 new features, all aimed at making it the most realistic incarnation of the series yet

The hit football simulation series Football Manager is set to return in full force with Football Manager 2012, offering it's most advanced interface and with a casually impressive 800+ features to boot.

Having sold over 7 million copies worldwide, the Football Manager series is set to take things a step further with their latest version. Of the key changes the transfer system will be of notable interest, there's much more cover of the amatuer and youth contracts, while the addition of loyalty bonuses and the ability to lock certain areas of negotiation make it easier for you to get exactly the deal you want.

In other areas the game will see big changes, the layout in particular has undergone a major overhaul with different screen resolutions automatically changing the number of panels on the screen making sure all the windows are crystal clear. Taking cues from social networking apps, the new layout has customisable columns and filters which mean only the news you need to see will get through to you.

Finally the match engine has been given a hefty revamp, new animations, increased and more realistic weather conditions, two new stadiums and two new camera angles (Behind Goal and Director Cam) will all be in place to help you analyse your teams performance. In truth, there are so many new additions to the game that it would take more than this news post to even cover half.

There's no official word on when the game will be hitting the shelves but Sega have promised it'll be out before Christmas, making sure you'll be spending the winter holidays doing little else.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops hands-on preview

Posted by Nick Cowen on Fri 12 Aug 2011

We've seen the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailers and now we get to have some hands-on time with the new modes from CoD. It's the return of Spec Ops, but with something rather special added; a spartan-esque Survival mode. Here's what we made of it.

Spec Ops mode was the sleeper hit of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Sandwiched between the superb multiplayer and a campaign that made every season of 24 look plausible, Spec Ops was a chocolate box of activity for gamers. It was a collection of mini-missions, which were as addictive as they were compelling. It was also proof that Infinity Ward could stamp any kind of game
