Kiadaw 6th Gear December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 As topic, any one uses these tires, & have any feedback, good/bad. Also any one know where to get this at best rates. Spec of Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec Its classified under Extreme Performance Summer tires. It will be serve as replacement for my discontinued Bridegestone RE010R. My friend actually recommended me Bridgestone RE11, but I think its more expensive (branding & Yen vs SGP) but not sure if its necessary better. ↡ Advertisement

I didn't get from LS but if you compare the prices from tirerack.com and include the shipping, I think theirs is only slightly more (provided they have stock for your size). Can't wait to try them out!

Kiadaw 6th Gear January 15, 2011 Author Share January 15, 2011 ANyway, guys, If you have not already know. After 3 weeks of research on the net, & opinions from friends & forum. I finally get myself the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric summer tires (thats a mouthful). Very hard to find places that sell the Dunlop Z1 star spec, & I got a very good deal on the goodyear. The Dunlop is one of the best street legal tires for the track; affordable (relatively speaking), excellence dry traction, one of the best wet traction for its class, & decent threadwear (for its class). (Base on my research). However, while the Goodyear is a class down in dry traction from the Dunlop, but still very capable, more importantly, it has very good wet traction. And with the "50 years" type of intense rain we experience just so often these day, (& its happening as I wrote this) you don't want to take chances in the wet. Its also more comfy & less noise, at least compare to my last Bridgestone RE01R, & give me much more confidence in the rain. Thats my opinion anyway. I am very happy with my goodyear so far. Anyway, you still need to bring the tires bought from US to tire shop for balancing. Not sure how much it cost in Sunny Australia.

I think it can be anywhere between 10-20 per tire fitted and balanced and another 80 for alignment so 150 in total? ↡ Advertisement
