My friend hates his Murano..... he said it is slow and handles like crap.

I suggest you better don't touch it bec he is quite forgiving for cars. If he can say such bad things..... [shakehead]

handling? what handling is expected of an SUV?

a murano is not meant to be fast and agile anyway.

there are 2.0l CRV, not only the older model but the new one are available too

maybe i should have phrased it as instead of 2.5 it should be 2.4 instead for those 2 cars.

i din mention 2.0 because those were not under his shortlist.

don't want him to go buy a 2.4 rav4 or crv and think its actually a 2.5.

Yes a Murano is slow and clumsy. Just to get my point across.

There are SUV that handles well..... Acura comes top in US. Who says drive SUV must drive like grand daddy but alas comes with a price. So far among the std Japs models here, I rate CX7 tops in terms of handling, performance and ride quality.

Folks,

After a long debate or rather argument with my co, we finally settle on this 3 + 1 choices.

1) outlander 2.4

2) crv 2.4

3) grand vitara 2.4

Grand is the cheapest among all but sadly, is a 4 speed.

Out of the above, she loves outlander the most but heard tat she is a drinker. Can anyone cfl tat the fc is worst than my 2.0 forestor?

Crv is ex cos of the "H" branding.

Out of this 3 can any kind soul who used to drive or own before, give some sound advices so tat i can use to assist my marketing.

Last Q is tat is a rav4 really tat bad? Heard a lot of negative comments frm 2 of my colleagues who own them before. Need more info before I remove it frm my list.

Hope tat I can make up my mind this time round ....

Cheers

Get the CR-V , it more practical for everyday driving .... as for the fuel consumption , it would be around 7-8km/l

I taut that outlander is a 6 speeder that means transmission should be smoother thus shld be a better drive than CRV

IF a CRV hits 8-9km/l. I guess i still can accept that cos my current 2.0 forestor is about there too.

Any other info to share with me about my options?

How about RAV4?

Yup , outlander indeed is 6spd AT and you can control 2WD or 4WD

I don't know about outlander because i doesn't drive one before ....

But i own a CR-V , The car is really very smooth , i manage to drive around 140km/h in BKE and it still handle very well , my car give me around 7.4km/l best manage to 9.9km/l but just won't get above 10km/l ... (perharps because of my rims)

It is very roomy inside and the leg space is very huge , and the car is perfect if you are around 175cm tall .

but i doesn't like my seat because it is fabric, but then i manage to change it to leather with additional $300 dollars ..

as for power , the car is not really that powerful but then we are in singapore , so i don't really mind :D

mine is from parallel import so it a FWD ....

drove for 3 years and it doesn't give me any problem and i am happy with it :D

if you need to know more , just ask me ..
