Apologies for the noob question, but as above, can anyone assist to clarify? Just need to be sure and not incur an unwarranted offence of driving without e-day license..Much appreciated.

If you are on the old scheme, on CNY Eve it is after 3pm then can use. New revised OPC scheme CNY Eve whole day.

The 2 public holidays of CNY = Full day can drive.

As for the Sat this year, it is like any other Sat. Depends on whether you are on revised or old scheme. Old scheme = use after 3 pm. New scheme = Whole day can use.

Yes, it's LNY or Spring festival. Called CNY as mostly celebrated by Chinese. LNY or Spring festival will be better term to use though.

Seems like now also got many other races celebrating the CNY...so have to be politically correct to call it LNY.

Some twisted political werido might even call it the 'LEE's New Year'.

I am surprised someone pay for a big ticket item and does not understand the basic T&Cs

No wonder financial institutes had an easy time milking so many people
