Hi , my time only EX GT comes with all round disc brake . The rest all rear drum brake . Was pretty impressed with the drive of the car after they changed the gearbox to a 6 speed. The 1.6 car dun feel sluggish at all although the car is packed with 5 pple. Plus the paddle shift, i think rejecting a budget car with all the things u want in a car proves too hard for him. Thus in the end, he signed for a red kia koup. Then he asked me to go down with him yesterday to chk out the forte again. When we were there, i told him to try to koup as well. Since he is stil young, why not try something sportier? He tried n he like it so he bought the koup instead lo. The koup is a bit low so not really recommended for taller folks. Else the car is pretty good. But the engine is slightly noisier la. I have a close friend driving mit ex n she told me the car is pretty underpower although i never sit in it b4 la. I think it is pretty hard to remove this stigma about korean cars being inferior to their mij counterparts. In singapore to say the least. Even my parents insist on me getting a mij ( must be honda somemore ) when i was sourcing for my 1st car a few yrs ago. They told me bout how their friends had met with endless probs in their mik cars. Dun get me wrong, im not indicating which make is more superior, rather when choosing a car, just go with ur heart.
