Was travelling straight and approaching a large T-junction between Kaki Bukit and Bedok Reservoir Road, a silver Toyota Altis U-turn and banged my rear bumper when the light is green in my favour. Is there a traffic light video or camera at that junction? Also did you both came down and settle? Or you only have his car plate no? Another hit and run? If above are fulfilled I don't see any difficulties in claiming him. More accidents coming soon if more can not see your car? Can share with us what car you drove, and the colour, and time of accident? Can't brake in time but managed to surve aside but his front still clip my rear side bumper. :( We did came down to settle but he is reluctant to give me his particulars and only offer maybe 30-40 bucks as compensation. I requested $150 because that's roughly how much is required to spray a bumper. What i am worried is whether he will do a claim suddenly against me a not. Lastly upon arriving at a safe spot to check my car i realised e frame holding e rear bumper is somewhat out of shape. Should i send my car to a workshop for a check? Just a piece of mind By look at it...hmm...it's a 50/50 case....unless u got witness or camera to prove it's in ur favor... These rubbish usually only drive once a year and that is during CNY visiting period. Please be careful as you never know what stunts these rubbish might pull on the roads. Just a piece of mind Perhaps that driver colour blind to black or got night-blindness, so can not see your car. Too late when he saw your car taillights. He reluctant to exchange particulars mean he got no valid Driving Licence or Demerit points at the threshold for revoking. I believe it is fair that you should report hit and run by him. These days, there are Class 3 and Class 3A Driving Licence. Those Class 3A invalid to drive manual transmission cars. Frankly, if u had proceeded straight and just bang smack perpendicular onto the side of that car doing a u-turn, you would have almost 100% chance of successful claim. This is because the collision spots and damage spots would be able to show that the other car did a "reckless" u-turn". Unfortunately, you current situation of bumper clips doesn't in any way, support your claims much. 50-50 is very likely. Depending on how the other party reports, you might be hard pressed without a in-car video as proof.
