I've owned a Fujitsu E8410 for 3 years already

Running on Vista...

Today i went to "windows update" which is the windows live...

After the update, i went to re-start my com...

Thereafter, the com can't start anymore..

The BIOS failed to run

When i "on", it just hang there, no screen loaded, the "fan" just keep blowing harder and harder..

Piang eh...

how? [bigcry][bigcry]

windows update doesn't do bios.

erm, i mean the normal start-up...

it doesn't even start...

For instance, "Fujitsu" logo doesn't even show...

try pressing and holding down "DEL" key when starting up the com..it restores BIOS to default settings..might be the BIOS settings

Nope, it doesn't solve anything

btw, thanks for everything...

Looks like i will be looking at netbooks soon

might be due to the ram being loose, u can try opening up the slot using screwdriver to see. but 3 years already, go get a new laptop. i saw a few pretty interesting ones recently when i got a laptop for my dad.

Neutral Newbie

remove the battery and wait about 1 minutes to plug in and restart, sometimes, some model stuck due to some conflict of hardware configuration or software error. just take a try
