WA. That's bad. I had a 3.0l 250 hp outback. Avg FC 8-9km/l. And believe me I do zoom zoom..

Apparently on paper n from owners in the US, you get 12-13km/litre

Those EDD April- likely END April. That's according to SE.

(1)are they using the latest model? 6560?

(2) you 2ch?

(3) power magic or cellink?

1. Yes. MI is using the Blackvue 650.

2. Yup. 2 Front and Back

3. Not sure what is on offer but I only when to capture images of when car is on the move. Don't bother about parking images so may not need extra power pack.

Hi All sifu,

Need your advise on these:

a) I was quoted 750 for 1 + 3 layer of paint protection coating (MasterShield 9H plus 3D Hybrid coating from Japan) - is it reasonable.

b) With the solar film from MI, I was thinking of getting laser shades (magnetic one that can easily put on and off) and was quoted 250 for 6 pieces + 1 rear windscreen.

All opinion are welcome.

Thanks.

The new FL FXT comes with Memory Seats but FL Outback does not. Wondering if its possible to add the memory seat module to Outback since comes with electronic seats adjustments?

Dear all outback owners and owners to be,

I am thinking of complementing the solar film from MI with the Laser Shade http://hcgroup.com.sg/Laser_Shades.html.

Contacted the seller and was quoted 7 pieces set including rear windscreen for $250.

Let me know if you are interested and maybe we could go for a group buy.

Thanks to Ben Tong for the idea.

IMO, 250 a bit exp. What will be the GB price? MOQ?

Thanks

Bro,

Let me supplement bro Emmerich :

Other brand : Groovy shades 7 piece -$300

Outback small population unfortunately so maybe worth a try.

Me in.

For those who want to read up more on Outback...check out the 2016 Subaru Outback Reference Guide. Though a US version, all features should be similar with exception of Eye-Sight.

I like the tire pressure monitoring feature. Now can save some $$$ on a TPMS.. Edited by BenTong

Just wondering if the rear windscreen piece is necessary. But if its just $70 more for that piece, seems reasonable.

I'm onz for group buy if can get better rate than above. Thanks

Not sure if our models come with this .....going with MI's low OMV policy, probably not  -_-

The XV has a warning light for Low tyre pressure. Doesn't indicate which tyre. Unlike the TPMS we know. But I m good with that if have.. Enuf for me than to pay a couple of hundred bucks.. Can use the $$$ to get the shades..

Just curious about this sun shades thingy...the only reason to buy them is to add on to the "not so good" solar film provided by MI?  Or is there any benefit of using the sun shades compare to top-of-the-range solar film?

Will the 3rd party TPMS have a separate display on its own?  Or can integrate to the existing Outback HU?

Sun Shades provide an extra layer of privacy, especially the front as its regulated by LTA how much light solar films on front windows must allow in. Its also detachable so no problems with inspection etc.

As for 3rd Party TPMS, I'm sure most would have a display.Don't think you can easily integrate 3rd Party gadgets into stock HU.

(1) shades - it's all about having a cheaper alternative than replacing with a high end solar film

MI solar film shades specs

VLT - LTA compliant

UVR -99%

IRR - 55% (F) 66 %(B) - heat rejection

Good enough for me but not for some. The shades can complement and bring up the Heat rejection even more. $250 vs $500-$900 for a new solar film.

So that $$$ saved can go into a dash cam 2 ch ($650) or maybe resin cargo bumper ($180)

Me cheapskate la.. Trying to get more things and yet achieve outcome for same $$$.

(2) TPMS

Have 2 options.

One with separate display and the other to the HU. See Steelmate. But I am hoping it comes with the car coz XV has the feature. It give out a warning light that tyre pressure is Low but don't tell u which one. I am ok with that. Coz if have will save another $200.
