Just for the record.

Pass my inspection on the 3rd time.

Pump 70% tank vpower. 2 bml of liquimoly octane plus. Ram many time to 4krpm.

And drive hard for 1 week.

I go to boon lay sta. 2nd time is free. (On the same day. If 2nd time another day. I not sure).

Third time no matter which day also need to pay. 34.

( last time i use to go to JIC at tuas. But there too many heavy vehicles)

I went STA Sin Ming recently 2nd time on same day, the counter staff waive off though I didn't ask for it.

yup i know, but there's no clear indicator there to state so nor whether it's for all inspection centre. We have Vicom and JIC also, do they provide free for same day and is it applicable to all form of failed inspection?

Petrol car I think so. Should be foc for 2nd try on all IC.

Diesel car.  Or commercial vehicle,  I think depend on what u fail. Small item like missing stickers or tyres. I think should be foc 2nd time same day for most IC.

But stuff like diesel smoke test. 2nd time time. Jic will collect money if I remember correctly.

Sorry I also piggyback on this thread. Just received SMS from LTA to tell me I have to pass inspection by June. Any problem if I send my car in for inspection within this month, or should I wait until May/June?

Normally car very very easy pass 1..

The most common thing for petrol car to fail is illegal mod. Tinted. And alignment.

Rest of stuff like tyre botak I dun want say.

My case is super super rare. Even last time my old sonata. 15 years old. O2 fault code on all the while also pass no issue.

Anw. Dun chut stun wait until last day then go. Last have 1 month allowance

my bazi clash badly with inspection centres one

all my cars/motorcycles are stock until cannot stock

yet

cars 50% chance will get picked on

motorcycles 100% chance they will call a senior/tao chiu come out to check one more round to find fault

I always go inspection on the first day

cannot afford to go on the last day

I tried this service on Vicom website and they say my car is not due for inspection yet. Makes sense since LTA say my inspection only due by June. On the opposite end of waiting until last day, any issue if I pass my inspection "too early"?
