i seriously dun believe the AF driver is rushing for time,

but that doesn't mean he have to wait behind you while you dilly darly...

and he didnt stop to access the situation like you think becos you have a camera,

he was jus trying to slow down to irritate you by delaying you like how you did to him,

jus that you were way too slow and he gave up even before you reach...

Losers like TS only like to do these stunts in SGP.

I believe he does not have the balls to do this in other countries.

Hope one fine day some hogger will make him miss the death of his close one or something to make him wake up.

Or someone smash his car also can [laugh]

TS, you dare post other pple license plate, post your own also la.

Neutral Newbie

You shouldn't have labelled him scum. Why call people names?

Also, rule of thumb as many has mentioned before, be courteous. Regardless of whether the other party is rushing or not rushing for time, being rude or not, it all starts with you. Even if he is not pushing you or anything, hypothetically speaking would you have let him pass? Before you type anything, ponder on this. I do admit that at times I am like this no doubt but of course, it is easy to point someone else than yourself and I learn to also take a step back and learn to be more courteous, patient and forgiving.

Remember, it starts with yourself, whether the other party is at fault or not, don't aggregate the matter or flaring up.

If you can't sleep over this, then forward this to the relevant authorities which I serious doubt anything will happen. If your motive is to spread his name and trying to tarnish his reputation, you are not any better than the alleged driver him or herself.

okokok... i drive alfa too.

But well... say carpark speed limit is at 15km/h. Are you going to use that as a weapon to say you are adhering to the speed limit and those behind should wait? objectively speaking, there is space for the car behind to move ahead.. and if this is not a carpark, you are in a way road hogging. I dont know.. but if you are driving to get to somewhere, and the car infront is doing what you did.. you sure u are ok?

so.. Alfa guy is too agressive in tailgating you, and its his fault for being to antagonizing.. and prob the growling exhaust is not helping (:p).. but maybe when you are in front, be situationally aware of other road users.

peace peace.

oh.. it is very irritating to drive the 159 at below 2000rpm. so pls understand... why do u tink selespeed is so notorious?

lol hello chrispie,

yes, your alfa counterpart le stig has made it clear of the error on my part. i dont claim to be a hero driver or an angel, so i take his and your comments seriously under evaluation.

i wont go ahead and advocate adhering to the speed limit as an excuse to be a hogger, although it is a carpark and you do make it clear that there was space for him to overtake.

personally to be honest if i was behind and the person in front was hogging, it would not make much sense for me to push and tailgate, even though my destination is time-sensitive.

would rather take my time and be late than risk any maneuvers, but that is just my viewpoint.

Again, thank you for your comments.

well, risk to you might be safe for others..

when i pass a car with 3 car length distance, the joker behind high beam me but to me, it's considered safe distance..

so when this black car pass you, he assess that he got sufficient space.. so got hit you? never, right? almost hit you? by how many? 1 inch or 2 inch?

in certain tight carpark, 1-2inch is a luxury already..

as usual, what happen on the road stay on the road... no point posting it and go thru the same anger again.

It's not healthy

Sony,

thank you for your comments.

Whilst posting was initially to vent my frustration, some of the comments here have been fruitful in pointing out improvements during the situation and in my own driving.

To that extent, i can say posting was worth it, but on the other side of the coin, the regurgitation of the topic can be stomach turning!

On the estimation of distances and the evaluation of driving situations, i do concur that i could have evaluated the case even more.

I have no answer as to why i did not have the presence of mind during the circumstances to move to the side, but it is not an error that cannot be corrected in the future.

Rgds.

don't worry. i also have my frustration when someone drive faster than me.. but after a while, i realised that I'm cruising while the other one is speeding. I could have done that but i shd pick someone my own size :D
