I have a question for those who purchased the Prius+ from BM and got the free front and back dashcam. Which model of the dashcam did you receive from the AD Borneo Motors? I remember it is a blackvue but not sure of which exact model it was.

I have been using the set speed cruise control and now i do not what is the use for the cruise control without setting the speed.

 

Is it normal for the engine to start for while and then stop when starting the car?

cruise control have to set speed la... without turning on crusie control you will not be able to set speed

 

when i start the car the engine does not start at all the first 30s or so...

I’m getting 635km for a full tank. This is only my 2nd tank. And have done servicing,1000...

 

I’m also seeing the hybrid battery drop overnight when all is switch off.

Are you on a Gen 3 or Gen 4 Prius? I'm getting 900 km on my 2 year old Gen 4 before getting a petrol light, and this is with driving with normal acceleration, not even trying to nurse the mileage. If you're on a Gen 4 I suggest you take it in for a check. Edited by Nostalgia

Hi! I also just book an Toyota prius+ too. I have test drive it and really appreciate the silence drive. Need to wait around 10 days to get the car. Looking forward for it as this is my 1st new car. :)

 Hi Rq1111,

Have you taken delivery of your Prius+? How is the performance, would appreciate if you can share your experience here as I am looking to book this car if it is doing good for the family rides.

The new prius alpha is a car of great value.

Car is perfect for families

It is not a car which has complicated interior

Evrything is simple and good for children

Saw the car and I have to say it is not bad

Compared to toyota wish it is better

For those who are hesitant because it's a hybrid, don't nid worry, now got alot of hybrid on the roads

Toyota have been doing alot of hybrid as well

Hi CARLOOK, so far Prius+ driving experience has been good. I have around 630km with 2 bars left for 1st petrol pump. My friends who take the ride like the feeling of quiet and stable.

 

Initial driving Prius+ seems a bit complicated for me as it is a bit different from manual driving. But getting use to it now. Really good for family.

 

I like the Prius+ because it is quiet drive, easy to drive, with cruise control for expressway and stable. The fuel consumption seems good. I didn't compare to other car fuel consumption so I cannot say it is very good. I also worry about Hybrid due to cost of battery replacement but Toyota has 10 years warranty so this easy my worries. Reliability to me still unknown yet. :)

630km only? how many liters did u pump?
