Adrianli Hypersonic April 12, 2018 Share April 12, 2018 Sunway. Food street and durian nearby. Just need to watch for air raids from the trees along Jalan Macalister at night if walking to durian stores or the other hawker ctr a few mins away. Thanks. Just booked Sunway on ur recommendation. ↡ Advertisement
Dleodleo Twincharged April 12, 2018 Share April 12, 2018 The last time I went, I stayed at Cititel Hotel in Georgetown. It has a mcsp and secured.I stayed there before too! There's a kopitiam beside the hotel - many nice and cheap local food there.

YorYor 1st Gear August 13, 2018 Share August 13, 2018 Planning for a such a trip in December, will be a first time for me but I had driven to Ipoh last Dec. If anyone else is interested, let's form a group to go together. My rough idea at the moment is stopover at Port Dickson for 1N and then travel to KL for lunch (one really good Bah kut teh) and then to Penang for 2N. Bridge across, ferry back (just to experience both). Trip down may/may not stop over anymore, still thinking whether wanna cross to the eastern coast to drive down (inspired by that round Malaysia trip post). I dont advise Port Dickson as a stopover as it is very far off from NSHW. Ipoh or KL more suitable. Crossing over to the eastern side, please plan to do it during daylight hours only. As no street lighting on Gerik Highway. Also the drive alone will be 6.5 hours at least.
YorYor 1st Gear August 13, 2018 Share August 13, 2018 Got it thanks, will factor into planning. Maybe keep Eastern side to next time then, for purely exploratory drives. And put PD into stopover for return leg. ↡ Advertisement
