As I foretold, there were quite a number of drive-ins who did not put their names in the initial list. The guys & gals from TDON were there to lend their support as well, and several of our mates from JNC were there with their classic rides. Now, where the HELL were you?!?!? :angry: As usual in MCF, no one has a clue about when the next MU will be. I guess it's up to one of us to initiate it? Perhaps the one who flew aeroplane? Perhaps the one who flew aeroplane? i no fly plane lah, posted that if i didnt go sepang watch the race i will come for the MU, but i did go up fri/sat, so not really AWOL... btw, there's a classic car race at sepang when i was there..... all the 60s, 70s, 80s yesterday heros raced neck to neck, i even took pics of AE86s fighting it out on track, will post the pics... ford capri, alfa GTV, classic 911s, TVR, classic mini coopers, 1st gen honda CVR (?? and two door hardtop from the 80s), 65 Mustang, M3 (80s), M5 (80s), all there.... grandstand free seating.... maybe we go up watch the next classic race (they have about 5-6 races every year) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Should start organising now for the next one. Then we'll do a MCF Classic Car Convoy to go watch the Classic Car Race at Sepang Any hotels near the track to recommend? two towns (Sepang, Nilai) are just about 5-mins drive from the track, hotels range from 1 to 3.5 stars for us to choose .... the local zi char as i mentioned are and unique, cant get some dishes in sgp... good idea to have classic convoy to the track and we can 'rest' the engine (for those which need the rest) along the NorthSouthHighWay every 1 hour or so, must treat our beloved car with care.... but yours should be able to chiong all the way there and wait for us to catch up I think we can check Sepang International Circuit website for the calender of event.... some of the nostagia jap cars can do lap time similar to modern cars (those current models that do 0-100 in 8s+-), so cannot underestimate these oldies... i saw a few turn hairpin corners on only 3 wheels ... really fast and furious Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
