  1. For the last eight years, Petersen Automotive Museum has hosted a Cars and Coffee event on the last Sunday of every month. The event brings the local Los Angeles community together to talk about cars, drink coffee and win awards. Petersen is now opening up the tradition to the world by launching its first-ever online Cars and Coffee following COVID-19 lock-down policies. To join the event, participants must submit a 20 to 30 second video of their car to the museum via Petersen’s website. Petersen will then compile the videos and premiere the final 90-minute long video featuring everyone’s cars live on YouTube. Car enthusiasts around the world will be able to share their stories with each other. During the premiere, participants will be able to vote on the People’s Choice Award. Following the poll, Petersen will announce the Petersen Perfection award and Best in Show, which will be shipped to the owners following the event. Submit your video for the online Cars and Coffee event from now until April 24 on Petersen’s website. The final video will be available to livestream on April 26.

  6. Hi Guys! The Singapore Exotic Car Spotters is organizing it's 5th installment of #MeetTheRides on the 15th of April 2017, 3pm at the open carpark outside Kallang Leisure park! Its sure to be a fun filled afternoon full of cars and petrol heads. There is no need to own or drive an exotic as the meet is for owners and lovers of these vehicles alike! We pride ourselves on the meet being one of the most diverse that we have attended with cars ranging from exotics, to JDM and even a few classics. Do come down to enjoy the beautiful cars and petrol heads who will be present! The event is 100% free and would be a lovely afternoon out either for just yourself or the entire family! I have attached the link to the invite and the facebook page below! We hope to see you! 7. Hi guys, are there any budding writers here? Any would-be authors? If you are interested in writing or becoming an author, would you also be interested in joining a Meetup group for writers and participating in regular meetings (on a monthly basis)? Ever since I discovered Meetup.com, I have been visiting the various writers' groups out there and joining in on their activities. However, many of those groups on Meetup have already disbanded or remained inactive. There are only a few that still organize regular gatherings, but attendance at the meetings are usually low. That's why I am thinking of starting afresh somewhere else and start organizing writers' meetups using a new format. That is, instead of just telling participants to chat freely among themselves, which is what most of writers' groups are doing, I think it would be more productive to set a discussion topic for each meeting and have a moderator allocate equal air time to each meeting attendee. That way, no one needs to feel left out. If anyone is interested, drop a comment here.
