When car is parked n locked..how old it will activate parking mode? Waited few mins bt no announcement of parking mode enabled.

So in e end, i took out memory card n go hm install my software. Managed to see all my driving videos n initial parking time when rch my MSCP.

Tis morning, before i put back e memory card.. I still see e led lights blinking orange n blue color.. Isit normal?

I then insert back my memory card...still orange n blue led..

I drove ard in my carpark but no announcement of parking mode disabled or recording start. Blackvue website say there is announcement when u park or drive ur car..

Ome more thing..

Wats e correct way to remove ur memory card after parking? And the correct way to put back bk e memory card next mrn??

Just make sure it's powered down - wait for 'oowered down' announcement - before retrieving the card because you don't want it to be writing to the card when you pull it out. Insertion phase, please ensure the set is not switched on yet. If your car comes with powermagic, switch off the auxiliary switch, or simply unplug the DC cable at the cam (anyway, I find it easier to remove the card with the DC cable disconnected).

Mine is DR400.

Default time to go to P mode is 10mins. If you want to go to P mode immediately, press the side button on the cam and it will say go to P mode.

Your cam blinking means it is recording. For colour of LED, you need to check the software setting using Blackvue software on your PC with the SD card plugged in. You can choose the colour of LED.

I think there is no announcement because your set was not powered down due to having powermagic, so it's switched on all the while (you did not unplug the power cable from the cam during SD card removal?). Not so good to remove SD card with the cam still recording - risk of damaging the card.

I just installed the FULL HD last weekend, the old DR350 was relocated to the rear. The recorded video quality is really good especially at night [thumbsup]

Fully agree on the high quality recordings.

I just got my blackvue DR400 yesterday and ran it for four hours at home. It does runs hot. When I first felt it, I was surprised too. None of my other car cam runs so hot. So I took my infra red thermometer and check the temp.

Somewhere near the speaker vent, it reaches 58.0 degrees. Along that area horizontally, the temp varies from 52-54 degrees. The rest of the places, it varies from 41-46 degrees.

The rest of my other car cams, the max temp I got was 40-42 degrees only. So, yes, the DR400 does runs hot. The temp might shoot up even higher if parking under the sun.

Same here. It's gets pretty hot. I tot I gotten a faulty unit. I checked with my friend and his run hot too.

Don't think the unit is gonna last long given the heat it generates.

bro have you tried the different settings? I really like the software where you can adjust so many parameters and also at least this software is quite useful.

The only problem I have is the traffic light in my video appears to be quite big and blurrish in circle. Unlike those korean review ones, their's quite sharp and clear? Could it be due to the traffic light we have in sg?
