Hi all...thanks for sharing on Blackvue.

I got a hit n run accident at my MSCP early this year....was think about getting such gadget for security reasons. Does the recording go on when we parked and leave our car at the carpark? Does it come with a built in battery or have to tab to car battery? Kindly enlighten me on this.

By the way, I saw a thread selling the Blackview 808....is that the same? Thank you in advance.

different cameras have different functions, different USP thus very different prices also. If you have time, read through the other thread on in car camera.

Will help to answer alot more other questions, then from there you can set your budget, your requirement then it will be easier to filter out what you will be buying.

Blackvue and Blackview are two completely different car cams. Physically, Blackview has LCD screen while Blackvue dont have. Software wise, Blackvue is korean while Blackview is PRC. Some models of Blackvue has GPS n shock sensor, Blackview has none of such stuff.

Yes, have to connect to car battery.

Thanks Bro....nice info [thumbsup]

Any idea if a 16gb class 4 Sandisk microsd card is good enough? I'm looking to upgrade my default 4gb card but can't seem to find any place selling class 6 Sandisk cards...

According to supplier recommendation, Class 4 is sufficient. Currently, I am using the Black Vue Full HD, the default memory card is 16GB and only class 4!

From the blackvue sg website, the DR400G(HD) is in. Anyone installed can comment?

I just installed the FULL HD last weekend, the old DR350 was relocated to the rear. The recorded video quality is really good especially at night [thumbsup]

Sorry, side track a bit. I just bought a 16GB sandisk class 4 microsd memory card and realised it cant be used on my car camera. My car camera

needs a class 6 memory card. Anyone BV users interested to buy over or exchange with me a class 6 16 GB memory card? Thanks!

Using the DR350 and the stock 4GB class 4 card. Seems like some of the videos taken cannot be viewed with media player classic, especially those covering the period just before powerdown of the camera. I'm guessing that the onboard battery did not have enough power to encode the video in time before the power runs out, causing the videos to have error. Upgraded the card to a class 10 card, hopefully higher write speed means that writing will be faster and less errors like this...
