The developer has since backtracked, slashing $102,000 from the top price after much uproar over the hefty price tag - which it said was only the 'indicative price range' for the flats.

they can slash price just like that. and i am sure they don just earn 30% profit from the "slashed" price.

just gets to show the kind of profit they are enjoying, hdb alike.......

Brudder the best thing is Centrale 8 is 2 X oversubscribed !

This goes to show that many SGeans are either desparate for a house or I don't know what to say ...

I guess she cannot go wrong if she echos ground sentiments using her MP platform.

Also, no live interviews and let her husband vet her blog posts.

control the price of the housing? then in the first place, why open up the land for tender, and have private developer bid?

Isn't this a diaster to begin with, by the MIW?

Ask her dont KK, if want to show better ask her question the Minister in Parliament. Dont just write in FB.....Wait a minute, maybe its Denise that's writing it? Who knows.

If she is serious about improving our lives, then she should go against the party whip and parliamentary conventions, question the minister in parliament over this housing issue and not post in FB. Make the minister responsible for his ministry's actions! Engage in a debate/discussion with the minister face to face and not post on FB... posts made on FB are not laws and are not quoted by academics or legislators!
