Actually TS nothing wrong. He need not follow the blue stream. He has the right to even go into the third lane. But he should not drive on 2 lanes. Anyway, if kena accident, it is the lancer fault as he should not dash out without clearing the vehicle on the main road.

Let's say the situation is reversed. He's on main road, and you drove out of carpark without checking. He will also definitely give you the SMLJ look.

 

Therefore, in conclusion, this driver always give the SMLJ look!

Motorbike from carpark. Never even bother to see traffic from main road and just exit out. P- plate Malay young man, Still dare to give me simi LJ look.

 

Seriously, yours is nothing compared to my experience with this old fart (50 years old) on a motor bike. I was driving along PIE towards KJE. At the Y junction spliting KJE and PLE, the A__HOLE decided at the last minutes to cut across the 1st lane and head off to PIE. I E brake and was very close to hit the road divider. I could have killed him .... but when I overtook him, he gave mt the simi LJ look as well. Some bikers are asking for it and if they get killed, they actually deserved it. Too bad, I do not have a Video Recording installed in my car.

The correct question is whether TS signaled left before moving into the left lane. I know that place well. There is no need for the TS to move into the left lane to go into PIE, since two lanes are available and the left lane is usually slower since cars and taxis will stop there.... unless the TS intend to do a stop in that lane as well, there is no reason for him to switch lane so early after a turn. It is plain bad practice.

 

Furthermore, when the Lancer moved out, TS was still not in the leftmost lane.

 

That said, this is Singapore. Expecting drivers to keep in lane after turning is apparently too much to ask for.

Your argument is thoroughly flawed. If you watch closely the lancer is on the right lane of the two slip road lanes. So he is suppose to filter out to the right side of the road, if you know what I mean.

 

So whether TS filter to the left lane or not doesn't impact the situation since the offending car is suppose to filter into the lane TS previously was on. So even TS is on the lane when he turned, the lancer HAS to stop and wait.

Car dashed out from slip road failing to give way to major traffic almost causing an accident.

to me it seems the lancer should slow down, in filter lanes. small road give way to big road correct me if im wrong.

if possible avoid the accident la, there sure will be a few idlots on road who want to show off their skills.

Actually the video do shows the lancer slow down already but is of last min thing..the lancer very impatient and thought he can chiong off and last min he feel he cannot chiong, if not will cause accident thus brake hard to stop over the 3rd lane.

 

So this is one of the example of impatient driver..

As I'm filtering into PIE slip road and going into Changi Airport direction I need to take the extreme left lane.

Since you knew the lancer will dash out, why did you switch only to be forced to switch back? What if there is a motorcycle right behind you? You really cannot switch lane a little bit later...because your car is not fast enough to beat stationary vehicles?

 

That's the problem with Singaporeans. We would rather risk killing ourselves and others than to give up our right of way.

 

Sure you are not wrong, but that does not make you a good driver, or a caring human being. Try driving in Malaysia more and see what driving with a heart looks like.

Saw the video again, and I dont think the dotted line implied you can stray into lane 3. Try that during a driving test and see if you will pass.
