Windscreen problem

Hi guys, nid some suggestions. My windscreen seems to be too dry causing the wiper to "tak tak tak" when wiping. I've already changed my wiper but to no avail. Pls help! 

I'd guess it's not the wipers but what you've used to clean your windscreen or what you've added to your washer fluid.

 

Rain X would cause this, whether through applying it directly or as an additive in your washer fluid.

Is wind screen silky smooth thoughout?

Try cleaning or polich up with windscreen polish.

remember never use rough pad, sand paper, or jif.

 

I just asked paint polisher to polish up windscreen. They did a good job of even removig the fine scratches, and wiping is quieter an smoother.

 

I think there is a new windscreen polish svc in MCF ad.

Use "Mama Lemon" (Dish detergent) apply on the windscreen with little wet cloth and throughly clean the windscreen (Do not apply on your paint work) and after then immediate flush with plenty o water onto windscreen and better do it at MSCP car washing bay.

Next time don't apply any additive into your washer tank as it will cause this problem again. Good luck

Oh, ya, clean your rubber wiper blades with 'Mama Lemon" and the problem will solve.

My solution.

 

Armorall Windscreen Cleaner - The spray type.

 

Alot of newspaper and strong right arm. (Remember how we clean windows in army?)

 

 

Smooth as a baby's butt.

 

Same effect as rain x above 60km/hr, without having to break an arm wiping away the 'cloud'.

 

 

Oh yeah, and wipe the wiper blades periodically as alot of road grime and dust will end up cogulating the blade.

OK tru my experience, some car-washes use a shampoo with wax added.

 

The wax when it sticks to yr windscreen wil cause the wiper blade to judder.

 

Try a glass cleaning solution or vinegar to remove any wax on the glass n see how in a few days when the residue wax stuck on the rubber blade is worn off.

 

If still judder, cud b the blade is not suitable for yr car.

Sometimes wax from your 'wash n wax" shampoo causes it as it puts wax on yr windscreen. U got to clean it off.

 

I heard last time pple say use vinegar to wipe n the wax wil come off.

 

I just use n hope for a big rain where the wipers will use a long time in heavy rain n remove the wax after a while.
