Kena stopped by TP

Was driving along SLE today, when the taxi in front of me suddenly jammed brake. Luckily I managed to brake in time. I overtook him to prevent the incident from repeating, but was stopped by TP for careless driving. I pointed out to the TP about the braking incident, but he say he did not notice it. Instead, he issued a summon to me for "careless driving".

Am I in the wrong? Could I appeal with this video?

Saw the taxi e-brake, there is ground for appeal.

from what i observed the taxi jammed brake because of the presence of the tp wrx.(taxi may be over speed limit thats why) , then you move to the left and then cut the taxi abruptly afterwards.

well, i dont see a problem except the exceed the speed limit part (my daily route strecth and im guilty of exceeing speed limit as well on that stretch...) and all i can say, not ur lucky day ... taxi uncle saw tp entering and slow down but u hero, overtake from left .... if wanna blame, blame ur lucky star...

u didnt notice they were speeding?.. from the way they overtook the left cars, im sure the speed is in the range of 100-120km/h ...

looks like you cut back into the taxi lane almost immediately after you overtook him

that is warrant for inconsiderate driving

i think the wrx didnt book him for speeding is because he follow the taxi speed

but he kena book cause cut dangerously in front of the taxi

 

want to speed next time use the front car as your 2 second marker

the tp will book the front car instead

My speed is 92km/h-97km/h/h. And my blackbox is with GPS, so the speed is recorded too except that I left it out in case it was used against me...

 

Yes I think the taxi braked because of the TP, the TP said I overtook the taxi for "revenge". I told him if that is the case, I should have jammed brake back.

How come TS did not notice the TP coming out from slip road?

If it were me, I will not do anything after changing to middle lane

and let the TP happy happy drove on till out of my sight.

You could have kept a further distance but do you really think he will repeat it again? btw, it does not look e-brake but just hard braking. By the way, did you signal when you change lanes?

The Taxi DID NOT JAM BRAKE. From scrutiny I can tell it's a tap on the brake, the rear of the taxi did not even pop up. I see that you picked up speed at 0.30 indicating pushing of the taxi... then abrupt overtaking and inconsiderate filtering. If I was the TP i would book you more ...

Try to challenge with your video and sure kena slap with more fines.

i think the problem liase with you ..... couldnt disagree with the traffice police.

 

initial you are ok , until when taxi speed slow down when he saw TP , and you got piss off ,follow by overtake recklessly.

 

- TP coming , taxi driver balance his speed to prevent trouble

- dont know you saw the TP or not , still dare to overtake from the left

- and after overtaking , you just slice inside without a safety distance

- finally , are you speeding?
