5936 1st Gear August 7, 2011 Share August 7, 2011 Saw this police car with an extra roof mounted equipment. There are 2 tubes on it. One looked like a CCTV with a mini wiper. The other looked like multi coated optical lens. Anyone else saw or share more on this gadget? ↡ Advertisement

Adrianli Hypersonic August 8, 2011 Share August 8, 2011 Thatz a huge in-car video recorder!!! I prefer those used by F1, its small, sleek, c/w wiper and in HD. But I think its a license plate recognising camera like one bro pointed out. I remember the UK police are using it already.
