Press Release This has since sparked a virtual fire sale with massive numbers of the said product flying off the shelves. However some undecided merchants have not adjusted their prices and there are rumours afoot that such merchants might soon relent, resulting in a second wave of a fire sale frenzy. (warranty aside) For a product that is so called discontinued, I won't expect that there'll be much spares support. So even if one wanted to have it repaired at those electronics repair shops, they might not even be able to get replacement parts. So do consider this as well.
