decided on the one above tyres.

regardless of price, which is more silent?

TIA

All those above are luxury comfort, quiet tyres. You Forgotton to include Bridgestone Turanza GR90, their top of premium range for comfort tyres ( I'm now driving with it). Tyres & the thread design is very sporty in look unlike others look very plain like a block of rubber Lidat. Haha... If budget constraint, can consider Yokohama Db Decibal as well. Quite Quiet, provide comfort but the grid on wet is not really Superz compare to those Above mention brand.

i am also attracted by the "extra" mileage claim by the manufacturer, so wanted to try the above before GR90, which i know is one of the better ones in terms of comfort.

Best still if you buy 4 Bridgestone donuts from their authorized Distributor, you will get $10 Shell petrol voucher. For my case, I did a direct swap with my New car stock wheels & tyres with their new GR90 freshly new from the oven & sport rims & got 2 $10 shell petro vouchers from the lady boss as I Cho cho her with some honey words. But of cos, I gor to paid some different for the new set of wheels. Haha...

Neutral Newbie

Sorry to highjack tread

For tire size of 195/60/15

Which will give better grip?

Don't care cost/noise, as I feel more or less they about the same.

Gut feeling is as below..

Continetal CPC2 > XM2 > GR90

careful of the Yoko DB. Its very quiet (almost surreal) but slip a few times when accelerating at corners on wet surface. A few times, off the red light, if accelerate too fast and on slippery surface, tyre will spin but car never move. Not sure if this is with this tyre or the same generally. Handling OK for normal driving (100-110km overtaking or gentle curves at Singapore highway). On the road not much problem.

Just change to XM2, handling better, took a few faster (my faster is not so fast though) corners have no problems at all (of course new tyre). so far so good. The sound is definitely louder.

I dont have much experience in tyres but as a normal driver, i am very satisfied so far.

Mine Altis, 185/70/14. $118 per tyre at Autobac. Other WS pushing the XM1 (around $105)
