Where is the best buffet spread?

parkroyal.... lobster and crab buffet....  200+ for party of 4.....   

 

spread not huge...  but very good quality ...

i went once for weekday dinner, i just felt the sashimi bar doesn't have much choices and the oysters are so so, but it could be because its a weekday dinner

This is very true.

 

Sashimi is limited and the oysters are so so.

 

There was one place the oysters were so nice I had 5 plates

 

but I cannot remember where it was. After a while all the buffets

 

became a blur. The attraction of Colony is the ambience if you want

 

to impress a first date. If you just want to pig out there are better buffets

 

especially if you prioritize sashimi and seafood.

Ms pChou I suggest MCF organise a team building session for staff. You can use my Treasure Hunt team building model and arrange at a 5 star coffee house. 1 or 2 staff can guard the flag (handbags) and 1 or 2 scout the high value items and 1 or 2 get the seafood, 1 or 2 get the meat and everyone share the collected items. I organise this for me team and they all loved it. The bonding and morale was really high. MCF only has to sponsor 100 for each staff once a year. This will improve team work and cooperation.

 

Trust me it works.

Btw I have 2 grad dips in HRM, an advanced dip in HRM and a dip in personnel mgmt so it's fair to say not many people in Spore are as qualified in HRM than me but I have never worked a day in HR cos they said I was too qualified.

 

So much for talent acquisition. Just not in my dept.

Every manager with human staff is HR manager.

 

Most of the time I do my own recruitment, training, performance appraisal. Even orientation. To HR its just where is the toilet and where is the pantry.

Honestly speaking i dont really like buffet meal because i feel that its a torture and u tend to maximise what u pay hence eat until explode.

 

I prefer to have set meal or course dinner, the portion made is for intended pax, just nice. Also normally buffet dinner cannot dabao waste of food if take too many.

 

 

I think buffet dinner is suitable to eat with friends who have different taste bud, let them take what they want rather than sticking to same menu for all
