Told the attendent to pump 98 Levo but I don't know what happened to his hearing he pumped 95. All I could do is to leave the car at the kiosk workshop for them to drain the 95 and pump in 98. What a bloody waste of my morning time as I've got to rush to work and can only collect my car later in the afternoon. I always worry so will take a while, linger a couple of seconds more...just to ensure that the pump attendant lifted the 98 instead of 95 before I start to walk away.... hope something great will brighten up your day later.. cheers. Is got pple pump for you, y not? I nvr allow them to pump for me bcos they already uncle and sometimes petrol station quite packed. Therefore i pump it myself. Learn from it. In future, I would surely glance that the 98 gun is lifted first before walking off. Just to add, they would waive the workshop charges and the cost of the 95 and I pay only for the 98 that they'll pump for me after removing the 95. What a bloody waste of my morning time as I've got to rush to work and can only collect my car later in the afternoon. happen to me b4 as well but worse.... requested 98 but the attendant pumped 92 rather than 95 in my case.... had to take half day leave to sent to WS to drain off the whole tank.... but the kiosk manager was very helpful, made me felt much better that day...... the old uncle (pump attendant) denied his responsibility and insisted that I was the one requested for 92, according to the kiosk manager..... have not seen the old uncle since then... felt abit guilty somehow...... ever since after that i will either start the pumping myself or confirmed the attendant inserting the correct nozzle b4 heading to the cashier. I always specify "auto-stop" (to avoid fuel spillage onto bodywork), watch them until they finish, screw the cap to my satisfaction, close the flap, lock the doors, then Q up to pay. I know it saves a ton of time to just start Q-ing before they're finished, but it's a bad idea if you value your car. Even something simple like "auto-stop" can be disregarded if you're not watching them, and this has happened to me before. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm sure we've all (at least the ones with high-performance/tuned rides) experienced a "bad tank" of gas that robs us of power or causes knock. I don't see how these are relevant to my situation. Would you want to take the risk driving with the potential knocking? It's a simple fact of not accepting something which I did not ask for. If you order hokkien mee and char kway teow was being served, would you eat the char kway teow knowing that you're allergic to cockles and might suffer the consequences from it? The issue of sympathising with the poor attendent is another can of worms. Yes I know that people think of them as old poor uncles that warrants our sympathy that they still have to work at this age. However, if you were to notice, not all are just old uncles. We have young and middle-aged FT of both sexes wielding the pumps now. Regardless, in every job there must be some semblance of accountability and responsibility. Unless, you belong to the untouchables where a simple 'honest mistake' can see you moving on.
