Mercator Neutral Newbie November 18, 2011 Share November 18, 2011 I guess no need to give Smiles card as the DBS card comes with Smile account automatically. I use just speedpass which takes care of everything (smiles points and no need to "Q" up at the counter. Speedpass is the way to go... hassle-free, touch-pump-and-go. ↡ Advertisement

Steptronic Supercharged November 18, 2011 Share November 18, 2011 yah but no smiles points Smiles point is part of the package. I just checked my bill and the bill shows Smiles points also. No doubt about it
Speedsun Clutched November 18, 2011 Share November 18, 2011 Smiles point is part of the package. I just checked my bill and the bill shows Smiles points also. No doubt about it But if sometimes some Esso stations have $2 coupon discount, speedpass will not be entitled to this discount right?

Mercator Neutral Newbie November 18, 2011 Share November 18, 2011 But if sometimes some Esso stations have $2 coupon discount, speedpass will not be entitled to this discount right? Confirm get smile points, but so far I have not come across $2 coupon discount. It is a trade-off I guess. BTW, how often do they have $2 discount promo and how to get this coupon? Speedsun Clutched November 19, 2011 Share November 19, 2011 Confirm get smile points, but so far I have not come across $2 coupon discount. It is a trade-off I guess. BTW, how often do they have $2 discount promo and how to get this coupon? Not very often, it is a kind of promotion at times. Some $2 coupon discount can also be just limited to a few Esso stations at random.
Meanmachine Supercharged November 19, 2011 Share November 19, 2011 Not 6 cents la, usually they will reduce 2 cents, then up 5 cents or maybe later up another 3 cents! Thy are practising " Tai Chi ' with motorist, the pattern is to show that they are human side and can relate as driver/s too. Hv been observing their moves over 2 years and it's the same habits/ style by their management, human behavior tends to be forgiving but we can't forget, down few cents 2day, then up again, so it's tai chi style. Stale for me !
Steptronic Supercharged November 19, 2011 Share November 19, 2011 if u got ur smiles card before ur DBS card... u need to link it i think? Steptronic Supercharged November 19, 2011 Share November 19, 2011 But if sometimes some Esso stations have $2 coupon discount, speedpass will not be entitled to this discount right? I never got those coupons from ESSO even though I am with them for many years (I never changed the brand in my life) But, ESSO is cheating a loyal customer
Jp66 5th Gear November 20, 2011 Share November 20, 2011 Not very often, it is a kind of promotion at times. Some $2 coupon discount can also be just limited to a few Esso stations at random. that is the reason I stop using speedpass donkey years liao because very often I missed the discount coupon. Now it becomes a habit I always carry 2 cards - dbs and smiles.

Vhtfhwlego Supercharged November 21, 2011 Share November 21, 2011 Looks like some increase in Dividend card! I got around 17% straight, where as the maximum was 15% for long time. You sure???? Yesterday I pumped $126.01, redeem $60.00 & paid only $48.37. S$126.01 less 14% = $108.37 $108.37 less $60 = $48.37. If that dividend card got 17%, my bills should add up $44.59. Jayy25 6th Gear November 21, 2011 Share November 21, 2011 confirm dun have.. double check with 3 different stations and all of they say 14% upfront. unless the one that given the 17% is a blur sotong....
Latio79 Clutched November 21, 2011 Share November 21, 2011 Should be 14% only. Well, there is still the 5% rebate for the dividend card which adds up to 19% discount (excludg smile pts). Hence dividend card still has the best overall discount so far?
