The skin seems like very stiff from Botox injection and the skin is tight and wrinkleless. It even resemble a robotic talking wax figurine from Madame Taussauds' museum. I also notice that when I saw him appearing on 10pm Chinese News. Agree with you that his facial expression look like wax figure from Madame Taussauds' museum - smooth and shinning.
