  1. Anyone have issues with stiff necks & shoulders, pain in neck, cervical spondylosis, etc? I've been having issues with the neck for past year..... seen doctors, chiropractors and bone setters. Seems better but its always there.. Anyone have any good recommendation ?
  2. Hi Guys, Need your inputs and thoughts of this product that is micmicking Spoon's Rigid Collar. Do you think this is a good add-on regardless of either Stiff Ring or Rigid Collar? Quote : Stiff Ring Stiff Ring, aka anti-vibration washer, is made of special formula aluminium. It is used to correct the car body basic geometry by filling the gap between the subframe bolts, subframe and the car chassis bolt hole. Thus, by correcting the geometry setup with Stiff Ring, the car handling will be improved significantly. Rigid Collar - Youtube video
  3. I thought I saw on the news today a very old man with very expressionless face. The skin seems like very stiff from Botox injection and the skin is tight and wrinkleless. It even resemble a robotic talking wax figurine from Madame Taussauds' museum. I pray for his health, as my wealth and happiness as a citizen depends on this old man existence! Take care old man!

  6. My Magentis by nature has a hard steering which I prefer. But lately it requires a lot more effort to steer as compare to before. Car has been serviced not too long ago. What else can cause this ?
  7. Hi all, I need some help from all gurus here. All along, I've been feeling that the suspension of my current ride is too stiff. The warranty period had just expired. As such, I would like to change the suspension to something more comfy. I'm not sure if i need to change the dampers or the suspension. Is there any recommendations for softer comfortable suspension/dampers? If so, where can i get it done and what's the damage? Thanks. Ride : Peugeot 307SW
  8. Hi, my ride was serviced yesterday, hand brake adjusted as it was part of the full servicing. After that, I find that it is very stiff (can only pull to 1st click with strength). Last time before servicing, I can pull it to 5th click with ease. Is this normal after adjustment?
  9. Hi guys... I noticed that for the accelerator...sometimes it is stiff...but sometimes it is ok. Because of this, i feel very reluctant to go back to SA because it seems like a random problem... Now after about 2-3 weeks or so, I noticed that if I use Esso 5000 petrol, the accelerator is ok. If I use SPC RON98 petrol, it's stiff. If I use Shell 95 petrol, it's stiff, but not as bad as the SPC petrol... What is going on here? Maybe Optra owners should try that Esso 5000 petrol and see if it makes their car lighter and smoother....
  10. Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum but I found that it is very informative here. Would like to ask for help. Found that my steering wheel gets a bit stiff when driving, like very hard to turn. So wonder what could be wrong. Abit worried cos of safety (e.g when need turn but cant turn how?). I'm driving a 1.0 starlet which is coming to 19 yrs old with no power steering. So not sure is "old age" problem or wat? Before that, the steering was ok. Please advise this newbie. Thanks.
  11. Hi, Need some advice here. My Ford Laser is very noisy while on the e'ways. The noise from other vehicles on the roads are barely noticeable, but the road noise/roar is so loud that I can hardly hold a conversation or listen to music. Also the ride is pretty stiff and uncomfortable, with every little bumps on the road transmitted into the cabin. Is the noise and stiff ride due to the tyres and/or the shocks, or are Ford Lasers just plain noisy/stiff? Any other Laser/323 drivers out there facing the same problem? I'm using Dunlop LM701 185/65 R14 now, and the recommended 220KPa. Grip wise, I would say it's very good, just not sure if the noise is due to that. For the absorbers, I don't know what is in use now, I presume it's the factory fitted set. Would changing the absorbers give a more comfortable/quiet ride? What's a good brand of absorbers to consider, Monroe Sensatrac? Just by rocking the car at the 4 corners, I realised it is really very stiff - hardly budge, compared to my brother's Nissan Sunny. One mechanic I asked even said that Japanese cars shouldn't have such stiff suspension, maybe the previous owner had modified them! Thanks!!
