Yes, the tank is smaller and I wish they could have designed it with a bigger tank. My experience has been that a full tank will probably go for a high 400+km to low 500Km for city driving - depending on driving style and traffic. I normally refill at 3/4 tank when it has about 120km range left (based on the on board meter).

When I drive on the NSH, I will use up about 3/4 tanks to reach KL. For comparison, my previous NA SJ Forester does the same route in 1/2 tank.

The consumption pattern for mild hybrid is different from the non-hybrids. Comparing the two Foresters, I find that the consumption figure is lower for the eBoxer in city driving because the EV kicks in at low speed and while cruising to stops. It gets about 8L/100km (sometimes less) while the full petrol Forester was 10L /100km. For Malaysian Highway, the consumption is about the same - about 7L /100 km.  The difference here is that the battery do help to give some extra torque (better acceleration).

Hope this helps.

Thanks Boss for the detail explaination.

so far this is the reasonable size SUV which is below the 200k mark which is suitable for my budget which i dun want to spend so much.

was hoping that the tank could be like 60litres...

The reason for the smaller tank is because the battery occupies the space. In fact it also take up the space for the spare tire so the car comes with a tyre repair kit instead of a spare tire. Having said all these, I find this model better than the  previous one. Just so you know.

Should not be an issue hitting 7.4-7.8L/100km consistently. If on NS highway, can hit 6.8L/100km.

If it is display faulty, don't think can be repaired.

Must well get a after market model. I believe original one from MI will be ex.

Hi guys

I was quoted $1.6k for this package and it seems reasonable.

https://www.subaru.asia/sg/assets/promos/aftersales/20241018_kansha/info.pdf

Anyone has this? However the package is valid for 2.5years for 5 servicing which works out to abt one servicing every 6 months. Usually I will go for servicing when I hit the minimum required mileage and I dont usually drive so usually I only do servicing once a year. Has anyone managed to extend the time frame before?

It's quite easy to calculate to see if there are savings. If you follow the 6-month service cycle, you will save some money. The plan also protects the price should the servicing price increase during the plan's duration.

I subscribed to a similar plan (twice) when I was driving a Nissan. Since my driving mileage has decreased, I find that the 6-month servicing interval is too short.  I also did not make use of the parts discounts that came with the plan. Note that the plan only covers the standard service items and does not cover works like engine flushing, air con cleaning etc. Read the plan to see if they give a discount for these items.

The price is reasonable. I have signing up for their servicing package.

Considering getting a 2017 Gen 2 XV. Any known major issues that I should be aware of, other than aircon?
