National flag at Sengkang hung upside down

 

 

STOMPer Jeremy spotted an upside down national flag beside the multi-storey carpark at Block 210 Compassvale Lane.

 

He says:

 

"National flag upside down.

 

"This was at Sengkang, beside the MCP of Block 210 Compassvale Lane.

 

"Is this done by a Singapore citizen, or a non-Singaporean?"

Utter disgrace to those who are in-charge of this flag pole.

I guess in states like North Korea, the person or persons in-charge may get thrown in hard labour camps or even be executed if their flag is hung upside down. [sweatdrop]

Well, not surprising at all... During national day, I saw 3 overturn flag hanging out just from my kitchen window view alone and the number of flag is not a lot to begin with...

I believe there are two issues: Too drastic the sudden increase in immigration. Too much malingers, no one tell the FT how to hang the flag, or supervised the flag display. Even got MP who do not understand what is National Anthem about

But seriously most of our misgivings are towards the policy makers i.e. those fellas supposedly in-charge of our welfare but apparently scr*wing things up & must not be against the nation on which we were born & sworn to protect though they try to link the two as one.

 

Hope the distinction is clear.
