Yixiang1 3rd Gear February 12, 2012 Share February 12, 2012 I don't expect any reply from them. Not possible to twice the difference for my case of Directasia $940 vs Another car insurance $630. Twice the difference means Directasia charge me $10 for my car insurance renewal next month. Think they will refund only if u have signed w them and paid $940, they will refund u the difference of $310 x2= $620. Btw, can share wat car u driving, quite low premiums. ↡ Advertisement
Mahjong74 Supercharged February 12, 2012 Share February 12, 2012 Count me in too. This price guarantee reminds me of audio house price guarantee... How u going to prove u were offered that lower price??? For DA's case, sure have some difference in the terms offered right? Maybe if there is a $100 difference in excess, DA can argue its different and can justify the $300 difference in premium?? DA access for me is $600 where another car insurance is $500 for me. Another car insurance offer the below conditions which are all better than DA. I can provide all the official quotations to DA if they required. But are you sure they can accept $320 and match the same terms and conditions? I don't think so The term and conditions from another car insurance much much better than DA. Don't worry lah, they'll find some wiggle-room clause. I have been most impressed by their "powers" in the past.

Neutralsg 5th Gear February 14, 2012 Share February 14, 2012 Hi all, I find signing up for directasia car insurance easy, agent free and hassle free. Been with them for last year. Now I'm not always around in SG so wanted to find an equivalent where I can do the same thing in the internet and compare prices. Is there another one in SG? Please advise and Thank you very much. Regards, I lost faith in Direct Asia when they increased the renewal premium after the first year of insuring through them although there was no claim against the policy nor incidents during the policy period. Ironically, AXA which was said to be more expensive by some; quoted much cheaper premium with better terms and conditions than Direct Asia's policy. Nevertheless, I am more than prepared to pay slightly more to insure with an established insurer than insurer such as Direct Asia and/or those: 1) with VERY bad reputation for claim matters especially those who do not look after the interests of the insured but their bottom line 2) who find the most convenient way to resolve a dispute AT THE EXPENSE OF THE POLICY HOLDER 3) those whose terms and conditions are with many ambiguities Therefore, regardless which insurer one selects, it is best to practice due diligence for peace of mind and proper coverage since accidents can be unavoidable as a result of another driver's negligence. Have a nice day, ladies / gentlemen!
Directasia 1st Gear February 14, 2012 Share February 14, 2012 Read alot of forums.. As long as urs is stock car, u are safe, experienced driver and declare ur usage accurately.. Directasia shld b fine... currently w DA also.. Only heard one fren say when his DA due for renewal, price offered by DA higher than if he went DA website get a quote as a new customer.. Seems they offer lower premiums attract new customer only.. Hope it's not true.. Hi Yixiang1, if that is the case then I would suggest a couple of things - please do check that all your details you've entered in the new quote are correct, so that the two quotes are comparing 'like for like'. If your actual circumstances and details haven't changed, and the quote is different than the renewal then please ring our customer service on 666 55555. They can run through this with you and double check. If the new quote is lower than our renewal price then we will always honour the lower premium in this type of case. You shouldn't pay any more in this circumstance. ↡ Advertisement
