Can be done easily. Just remove the rubber seal around your driver door.

The cables can be tucked inside from under the steering wheel.

Hi Guys,

I seriously need help here urgently. I'm driving a PI Honda Stream. My car electric supply will suddenly be cut-off when I'm driving, but my engine is still running normally. When the electric supply is tripped, the power steering light will turn on and the radio will off and on again. An this thing is happening more and more frequently. Not sure any of you have encounter such problem, and seriously can't find the source of the problem. Initially, I thought it might be the Head Unit problem but even I off it the problem will still occur.

You guys have any good suggestions or workshop to go and check my car wiring? Many thanks in advance for the help.

not enough information for anybody to help you

when this happens does it automatically go away after a while?

how long does it take to go away?

do you need to restart your car for the problem to go away?

have you checked your fuse box?

i'm not sure what other questions should be asked

So sorry to being unclear. When this happen, the problem will come and go when driving. However, I realise that the electricity will be cut when I press my brake or when moving off. It will not happen when I'm cruising.

Each interval only takes a few seconds but the problem will keep happening until i stop the car.

I didn't check the fuse box cos I not sure what to look out for. Thanks.

Most likely poor or frayed wire at the battery posts.

Do check them.

A new cable only around $10++

could be an alternator problem, maybe your alternator is going to die soon

do you have problems starting your car? if so check your battery level

else i don't know already :)

Since yr engine is still getting the electrical supply to the plugs that means the battery connection and ignition circuit is in order.

The problem happens only when you apply/ depress the brake pedal, that means either one of the relay in the fuse box is loose or brake light wire has been cut and tap ( lose connection) for other accessories use. The other possibility is the brake wire harness or single wire is caught in the pedal mechanism causing loose connection momentarily.

Dear All,

Thank you so much for all the advise. If it is easy to DIY I don't mind doing, but I'm not sure where or how to fix it. If possible, can someone advise me on the steps? Many thanks in advance.
