Which tyre?

40k not a problem for AD08 unless you want to use up to 60k for your tyres.

Just like TS, my RE001 worn out early last year. It only lasted for a year.

When I was shopping for tyres, I wanted a tyre that performs better than RE001 but yet have a higher wear rate.

Initially, I considered RE002 but it was made in thailand and costs $265 per piece for my profile.

Next, I considered Yoko AD08 but the wear rate is ridiculously low.

After much consideration, I changed to S001, which was $285 per piece and made in Japan.

Quality is much superior to RE001. It's a different class altogether. I wouldn't say it's quiet but its side walls are really really

hard and has excellent wet and dry grip. It's been a year now and it's wearing out very well. I think it can last me another 1 year.

But of cos, it's not within TS's budget.

My tyre profile is 215/45/R17

RE070 . though it's not a new design.but i like the hard sidewalls or it. stretch your budget and get them.

forget about R888 . it just doesnt make any sense using it on wet weather.

Mine coming to 25k and still plenty of tread. Should last till end of this yr.

Well bro, good then. My tires (RE 010R predecere of Re11 ) wear out to much in slighly more than a year & 20k on the inside as the camber angle is too wide. I change it to more straight camber but never have the chance to see the long term gain as I sold the car soon. Lucky guy got my car just after my major servicing & tire change (cost over 3K together).

I mood liao, so I sold him at a very good price.

It's not available in all sizes, and may need to indent as stocks are normally low. Those on the common 17 size normally will need to upsize to 225/45/17.
