Recommendations for semi slicks

am driving an exige 17" rear 16" front

 

anyone have any recommendations on semi slicks?

 

also since nowadays tyres are tubeless, if puncture..just repair can right? friend kept telling me repair is not safe....

your friend is giving you golden advise.

If is a properly repaired repairable tyre is still OK for normal road use

If is for track or racing you can forget about using repaired tyre

i repaired at tyre shop... they pull out the nail..use a needle kind thing with rubber and push into the hole..is tat considered properly repaired?

technically, is not proper repair as will leak air.

exactly, last time my car go do that proper way of repairing also, it cost me 45 buks.

 

nowsday just use the plug repair 5-10 sgd. still the same lol

South east tires does internal patch for 15bucks.

 

 

To thread starter: you can try Dunlop z1 star specs. Lotus guys in uk also give good feedback

i tihnk they charge more for bigger or runflat tyre

so best you ask before thet job preceed

Sad to say we live in a Developed Nation and yet this tyre shop is still NOT UP to the Industrial Standard ( Industrial approved method INTERNAL repair) which make our drive or journey SAFE and Peace of Mind :angry:

Unlike some White people nation is the LAW required them to do ONLY internal repaired and SIDE wall repaired is BANNED.

Those ourside method only for Owner used (temporary mearsured) and still need to bring to Professinal shop to have a Proper inspect and repair

ad08 is not a semi slick tyres.

for yokohama last time it use to be a048.

now it upgrade to a050.

 

and toyo r888 is not really a semi sick tyres also.
