TVT Supercharged September 23, 2013 Share September 23, 2013 Do you all constantly measure your battery with volt meter? If I don't have volt meter, how do I tell when to change my battery? Can I change when I start to need to crank twice? Will it be too late? You just be more alert when your battery reaches 2 years of usage. Then when you find difficult in starting for a few days in a row, then better change the battery. Crank twice to start may not be a good indicator. It could be you turn your key too fast (& release) ...... ↡ Advertisement

TVT Supercharged September 25, 2013 Share September 25, 2013 what do you mean difficult in starting? as it it coughs a few times before engine started? Yes, something like that.... Or it takes more than 2-3 times to start. Usually, with a healthy battery, just one start and the engine will fire up!

Usually when I change pads, I wil flush a bit of the fluid from the calipers so the fluid near the calipers wil b fresh again. Thats the place that gets very hot n the fluid wil breakdown n absorb moisture. If u dun wan to flush the whole system, at least flush the fluid near the calipers better than nothing. Also new pads wil compress a bit when u use for abt a month so u sud top-up the reservoir after abt a month after changing yr pads as the level wil drop a bit.
