13177 Hypersonic July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 Seriously, if the Merc had signalled before making the move, then OP is just plain rude. Maybe it was an honest mistake on the part of the Merc. Noone wants to get stuck in this sort of situation. But i find many driver just cut into your lane straight away after they have switch on their signal!? In this situation maybe it is the other party who is rude!?
RCoupe 1st Gear July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 i will scold that person and the bloodly casher if i am at NTUC Relax lah, very stress if you keep insisting on the right way. If an old/ elderly woman jump q, would you bear to scold? If its PRC, ah tiong.. dont even feel like scolding as you will vomit blood.. They simply "po-chap" you Once I was at the q, the XB PRC woman in front of me dont stand in the q, then want to cut when cashier asked her to join the q. She even stood in front of me, lucky the cashier saw and asked her to go behind... she sarcastically said " so ma fan".. I teach my son, in future dont be like her uneducated but give way to elderly its ok.. The woman who q infront of me agrees. Scold may not look good even if you are right... Kezg1 5th Gear July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 My own encounters are that Merc usually have faulty signal lights. Seldom see them blink. But on TS encounter: Nowadays I always give way so long as the fella signals. He/she could have wanted to join in the queue earlier but couldn't. So live and let live lah. Me2...is only that 3 sec...no problem but sonatas-blue then I hv to consider..
Joseph22 Turbocharged July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 Sometimes even you scold the person who jump queue also no use, cause the other person still have the cheek to tell you, if you are not happy go complaint lo. Anyway, jumping queue along the road very common, you can always find such idiots jumping queue, esp during the peak hours, no matter what car they drive. that is why i scold the casher too until the manager come and bring that bugger to que properly. anyway if you shout loud enough. lots of aunty will join in the shouting one. this is called consolidated strenght. BTW, that is why i scold the casher too. last time when schooling day i work as a casher in K-mart (yap that is very long ago) anyone who jump que i will tell them to re-que again when they reach my counter. No, that means they've driven in Sg long enough to know that if they wait after signalling, 90% of the time, the idiot behind will purposely close up the gap. Smart, not rude. The_Bear Turbocharged July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 i believe he dont mean your porsche lah.. but someone else I think to be fair, everyone is entitled one particular brand of car that they don't have to give way to at all times. I choose Por-shay.

I also signal first. When they maintain pace, there's peace. If they try to speed up, I still get in front of them, and give them "the look" (if not the finger). Nyaah. 1fast1 Supersonic July 16, 2012 Share July 16, 2012 okay. On a serious note. Have you ever seen the cause of death on a death cert that states "Complications arising from giving way."? No, but there are many well-documented cases of complications arising from NOT giving way. Usually with an intervening cause of death called "massive road rage". ↡ Advertisement
