I am driving a 2006 Picnic and very interested in your INAVI FXD700. My current cam [dead] . If install both front & rear cam with installation, what will be the cost? If inconvenient to post the price here, can PM me the price.

I've gone without a car cam for a long while.

Now after reading dashcamtalk, i'm deciding between DOD F500LHD vs DVR207.

Anyone tried either one of these cheap car cameras?

What u wana use for? Surveillance or Driving recorder?? Night time driving records important for u?

Thanks for the help. I'm noob to all this.

 

Driving recorder. I kana buanged before while parked. But this kinda is quite LL one.

 

I usu start work early and end work late. So 50% driving time is @ night. I understand the DVR207 and F500LHD night time is only average. Is it really jialat in Singapore context (pretty well lit in some areas esp expressway)

Also the Livue LB100 can consider as well, it has a g-sensor right with better night recording?

 

Finally, my car is stock. Do i need a mechanic to lay another 12V wire to come out? or just use cig lighter socket? (which is quite lehcheh)

Of the three, I suggest u get Livue LB100.

 

For ur purpose, u can self install the car camera to ur cig plug. 5mins or less job only. No tools required.

Thanks for your advice! The night time images for those car camera so jialat ar...

hmm but long term, if i want to use the cig lighter socket for like phone charger, better to get another 12V line out?

The night videos for these older car cam has lots of noises. VRN is only clear when vehicle is really close to the camera. Cant spot cyclist or other cars at the sides.

 

U can always purchase a multi-plug or twin plug for ur other devices :

Booked my appointment this Sat afternoon.

 

Was informed that software in Korean. When the English version arrive, can it be downloaded or overwrite after my installation? -_-

Went down to the shop last evening and saw the display set, picture captured very sharp and since with a rear camera thrown in also, I book one. -_-

 

Very important is picture is clear even at night ... [:)]
