Good job TS.

I wonder if offences can add up?

Spource: LINK

6 Demerit Points - Careless driving

6 Demerit Points - Offences committed by motorists at a pedestrian crossing, Unable to stop your vehicle before reaching a pedestrian crossing

9 Demerit Points - Driving without due care or reasonable consideration for other road users

4 Demerit Points - Failing to give way to oncoming traffic at controlled junction

12 Demerit Points - Failing to conform to traffic red light signals

24 Demerit Points - Reckless or dangerous driving

How come no demerit points for turning when lane is for going straight? The driver committed min two offences.

Just to share ..... I encountered a similar situation last Sat... my car was stationary and I was waiting at traffic junction at Choa Chu Kang Drive and Choa Chu Kang Loop (Near Lot 1). I am stopped at the junction for at least 30 seconds and this lori just zoomed past me and best the red light .... farking m_ther Farker could have killed someone and I was stunned by his action..... I did not have a car camera ... else I would definitely sent it to TP..... I would have given chase, but by the time the light turn green ..... the m_ther farker had disappeared. It was too quick and I did not even have the the chance to see the VRN.

WTF is happening on our road ...... I no longer drive off immediately at a junction and wait for a few seconds before moving off .... I also keep reminding my daughter to be extremely careful when crossing the road .... right of way meant nothing .....

I hope that all these m_ther farker will get their due soon ......

SBS bus chiong ang hey!!!!

Well done TS!

Nowadays many of these truck, lorry or bus drivers are foreigners, sometimes I wonder if they really have the licence to drive. I believe many of them still practise the driving habits of their hometown like beating red lights, even drive in the wrong direction of the road if it convenients them.

Dankoo,

Do forward this to the TP for their actions. We need to eradicate such drivers and get them off our roads. Our friends and loved ones are at risk with such dangerous driver on the loose.

Reporting Traffic Violations

Cheers :)

I didn't know there is actually such a procedure. But assuming i fulfil all criteria for the report, will they really take action against all offenders or only those "jiaa lat" case one (like this lorry driver). I see many many idiots pulling all kind of stunt everyday! And like those ppl cut queue and cut in by crossing over double white line? Will they prosecute these too?

It is sad that nowaday, a lot of motorists does not care less or even spare a single thought to other road users. More often or not, all kind of stunts came out on the roads. Is drivers nowaday more impatients and has a nonchalence attitude towards other, developing into a selfish and cold society in Singapore, what would becoming of Singapore for the next generation? [:(]

Wow me too didn't know there's such a venue for other drivers to help report traffic violations. I hope tp will act on all these reports and not just collect data and do nothing. These days traffic is getting so much heavier than before such that a lot of motorists are doing stunts. I hope with all these reportings, will also help to deter all those stuntman wannabes.

If you visit their site, they listed down conditions that has to be fulfilled such as being a witness, details of yourself before they will take action.

Not only that, they ask for clear pictures or videos of the errant acts. It's our responsibilities to provide them with evidence, it seems. Not to worry, your video is very clear.

Car did not come to a complete full stop at the stop line is also an offence.

Shoot out onto a two way lane, stopping half way perpenticular to one lane direction while trying to avoid a on coming car may be very bad driving as well.

Because there was no traffic on the two way lane so it seems very safe and not dangerous driving.

Likewise, the truck turned left, beforethe perpendicular vehicles started to move, so it seems very safe and not dangerous driving too.

WTF r u talking about? U support the truck?!?!?!

Question on reporting a traffic offence. If a person is not a witness but saw a video of an offence being commited, can he also report it to the police? Or must it only be those who see the offence then can report? In this case the video is the evidence, it should be more reliable than a person's testimony right?
