With all the good stuff they cramp inside this car, would be a good consideration if CAT A buang next bidding.

By the way when's next bidding date?

Due to the current high coe, it has already kill off many not bad new car model in the market, like the i30, elantra and veloster. Overall sales for these cars not say very high. If the coe is low, i believe you can find plenty of them on the road.

I reckon if C&C brings in the new Carens w 1.6 GDI turbo, it'll sell like hotcakes and buyers can finally turn their backs on the Don't Shift Gear Touran......

I'm quite keen on this new cerato as the price for the pre-order is good and my coe will be up in about 2 years time so I'm keeping a lookout for good buys. Wonder what suspension they are using or is it just torsion beam like the elantra?

I believe its the torsion beam setup.. The current Forte is as such too.

I would have preferred a multi-linked one though..

(edited)

today went down to ask SE about the K3 pre-order at $89,999

car not here yet so cannot see it in person, but the gadgets inside are really aplenty(compared to the sylphy 1.8 i see few weeks ago).

if the SE never smoke me, below are some of the specs,

1) omv is about $17k

2) 130 horses 6AT with paddle shifter

3) rear center aircon vent

4) rear floor is flat with knock down seats

5) electric seat memory and ventilation(cold & warm) for driver seat, front passenger is warm ventilated only(not tat useful)

6) reverse camera

7) 6 airbags

8) c/w 17 inch rims

9) first batch interior will only come in black with white leather seats(no go for those with kids), but i am sure they will bring in the other interior colors soon.

10) dual climate aircon

11) cruise control

12) front hid/led blab blab blab...

13) no sunroof but knowing c&c, they might bring in the sunroof version in later batches

they are pricing the coe at $40k, so any booking now is still with non-guarantee coe.

they are giving the option of placing a $5k deposit to prebook the car at 1.88 loan for 60% 5years.

if after seeing the car and not happy, can just take back the 5k deposit.

all in, compared to the slyphy 1.6 or even 1.8, this definitely seem like a much much better offer, i am really tempted more towards this k3 now although i might wait for the turbo version if there is one and also whether c&c will bring it in.

the only thing left is a test drive to compare the drive quality between the slyphy and this k3.

Neutral Newbie

Camping for 2014 Kia koup 1.6L Turbo chunking out 201 horses. But, not sure whether C&C will bring in Turbo version.

Anyway, pre-launch price for Kia Forte is really attractive with accessories loaded with.

AD should know the market best and I hope it's true that coe drop to 40K. I will sure go for either cerato or elantra. Jap saloons don't seem worth it and have fewer gadgets.

I notice even korean cars now comes with many gadgets, but overall people still prefer jap cars. [rolleyes] Lol, need to look at the real thing of the new K3 then can see whether K3 or elantra better?!
