Jamstart 1st Gear August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 The cream works for me but have never tried the tablets type. Whenever my knee ache after some games, I will apply on the cream on both of my knees. 2 or 3 days after, the pain goes away. The problem is, I don't use it regularly.:p
Kenmical Clutched August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 It works for some and may not work for others. I just use as a supplement or preventive due to running mileage I clock every week. I find that the best way to save the knees are strengthening exercises on our legs. Need not head to gym, just free weight lunges, squat etc will do. When the muscles around the knee is strengthen, it can hold your knee or joints better.
Dumb 4th Gear August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 I have knee pain whenever I walk up or down the stairs. Someone recommended glucosamine. I took them once a nite for 3 days to 5 days and the pain stops. Many months later the pain returns and I would again take the pills for 3 days to 5 days and stop when the pain goes away. This has been going on for about 5 years. So what works depend on individuals. The pills here are alot more expensive (can be more than 3x the price) compared to what walmart is selling. Get you friends or relatives to buy when they coming back from the States.

Jman888 Moderator July 3, 2017 Share July 3, 2017 I thought oral is more effective as absorption rate via the skin is very low ?oral will take some time probably few weeks or months, and it is not advisable to take everyday due to side effects (though not confirm), I took them 2-3 times a week for about 6 months and the pain went away. The cream helps to relief pain faster while it doesn't happen too often.

So far I find cream not very effective, maybe my skin a bit thick. Though I do recall TGC saying they are fast or better absorption than other brands. Have not tried personally. Elderly liao have a lot of medical to eat so try to reduce oral form. Though I do recall TGC saying they are fast or better absorption than other brands. Have not tried personally. TGC and Urah are very exp, but if really work then ok la if not... Both claim to have 10% glucosamine content.

I see, in that case have to see and compare the labelling for content %ages to see which one is the best value, ↡ Advertisement
