my own experiences tell me we dont sleep in a single position throughout the night. so the contour of the pillow is just one small part. more importsntly is how much movements you have throughout the night.

do a time laspe video of you sleep if you really want to know what suit you best. it is all about the quality sleep than pillow or mattress. firm good support is basic.

There is no such thing as best pillow except for the one that gives u the proper support unique to your sleeping posture and habits.

The best pillow for A will not be the best pillow for B.

General rule of thumb,  side sleepers need to have higher pillow to maintain the neck spine in the anatomical alignment with the rest of the body.  Back sleepers will required a relatively lower pillow.

Sometimes the bed mattress might be the cause of neck pain instead of the often maligned pillow. If your mattress is too soft,  u tend to sink in and thus ur neck alignment also goes out of the window.

I need a pillow that give me sweet dreams ......... Yeah BABY !

There's a difference for charcoal pillow. The one I bought in 2012 at isetan is much denser and heavier than the ones at metro and og sale. Maybe I go back to isetan to look for it.

ok, sharing my review of buckwheat pillow.

smelly pretty good and soft, not that strong as many proclaimed.

hardness, pretty hard but you can adjust to your preferred liking.

so far so good, ever since I start sleeping on it, exercising, went to tcm..

my shoulder is slightly better..

slightly only.

bought the pillow at Q10, for less than $30, should anyone be keen.

pillow height also affected by the pillow cases you use, some are tight and some are loose 'cos pillow cases come in different sizes. [flowerface]
