I had the opposite problem - as I did not have a power magic box, I intended for the camera to only come on when the car is running. However, the fuses were "always on" and the camera would not turn off! It took a lot of rooting around to find a power source that did what I needed......

I ask soon lee to route two cables. Both power are from the fuse box.

First, to the front windscreen camera for 24hrs power

Second, to the back windscreen camera. Power will off once i off the engine.

cabin light fuse? it's also at the engine bay fuse box...

or you're suggesting tap directly to the cabin light from the roof lining? I also thought tapping directly to the boot light and leave the power magic controller at the boot (since mine is hatch)...but will direct tap be safe? no fuse?

by the way, if those unused slots in the fuse box (no reserve indications) if I slot in say a 7.5A or even 5A fuse and tap to them will it do any harm?

How abt alarm system???

U can install inline fuse but I dont recommend to tap directly from the cabin light. Removal of the roof lining is a lot of work.

yes, you're right about the roof lining...I tried to figure out how to "cleanly" remove or try to install it through that part yesterday also but after checking here and there I quite aborted the idea..

I don't have any aftermarket alarm system...and I'm only using the OEM one with immobiliser which I was able to find the controller behind the glove box...but quite risky I would say...

I found the firewall grommet but trying to see to wire in to the interior...or route it to the side indicators but still trying to find any good "opening" to do so...

I was thinking to do inline fuse via the IU supply...but it's was too deep behind the dash..

Not sure if I can help... Other than the fuse box area, those installer unscrew the fuse box bottom cover and pull out a connector which I believe may be the IU.. It may not be in the fuse area..

Any recommendation shop juz to change windscreen only and resonable price?

Why not just go to your insurance appointed workshop to claim for windscreen replacement? Normally only need to pay $100 excess or some policies even waive this excess.

Just received the package from the mass order safely and AIYO!

Silly seller gave me the wrong tracking code and I ended up tracking some other chap's (from Telok Blangah) package and thinking that Singpost screwed up the delivery. I spent a few minutes calling and screwing their customer service today because they took ages to give me the proof of delivery (which has still not been sent to me).

Anyway, the package was received safely and I will be bringing it down to Soon Lee for installation soon (as soon as work allows... Anyone knows their opening hours and if they are open on weekends?)

Also, the manual is in Korean... Anyone have the English manual they can share? Will the 8GB card that is included be enough or is it advisable to get a 32 GB one?

Just received the camera this evening.

Any one has the English manual? Mine came with Korean manual.

Btw, where to get the software? Thanks.

What software? Is your software Korean? I think mine should be korean too then.... How do we flash English firmware for this?
