ITB100HD feedback

look closely at the video at the 10s mark, he was already in my lane

at 13s he went back into his own lane

at 15s when he noticed that i'm going back into my lane he quickly accelerated. notice how far left he was in the lane?

at 33s he signalled to me that i should be in the other lane. obviously he doesn't know which lane to turn into himself

had i driven with the lane markings as my guidance line, i would have hit him as early as when i started turning.

Lol, Try to follow your lane and see what happens next time!

my first ITB-100HD that I brought come with the power magic and it seem like it had shorten my car battery life....my brother-in law friend also face the same issue with the power magic ups..

So for those with ITB-100HD and power magic UPC..do take note.. I think somewhere in this thread did discuss about it...

ironic is that my original car battery is only 7 month (maybe one year) old as it a new car...

Now have to replace the UPC and at the mean time..will have to disconnect the the camera once I driving for more than 2 days...

so it is not advisable to install the UPS? it will shorten the life of the car battery?

then what do i need to install additional if i need to use the camera when parking overnight in carpark?

thanks!

May I ask? Are you driving an opc? And how often your driving duration? Such as long or short distance?

Looks like he moved out without signalling, so you may have a case.

Thank bro. I also just noticed that. Anyway I have reported the case to TP and insurance.

Who's fault?

from my point of view, you were doing 50km/h on wet conditions. probably you should have slowed down but still 50km/h is legal road limit so no fault on your end.

he turned out all of a sudden in 2 car lengths, i'm going to make a guess but unless you are running on sports tyres, under wet conditions it is physically impossible for you to stop in time. also noting that he immediately braked after entering your lane

i'd highlight this in your insurance report. whatever it is, i think you are still going to lose your NCD but i hope you win the case.

that vios driver was being unreasonable, he didn't check his mirror before turning out. even if he did check his mirror it was a really selfish thing to do, to expect you to brake from 50km/h to 10km/h just for him.

lucky you have a video camera else 100% you are at fault

I lost the original itb100 sd card. I have not made any copy onto my pc so what options do I have after I get a new sd card? Can the video cam support 32gb?

Any Class 10 32GB SD card will do. But some brands to avoid include (personal experience): Kingston SD card and SanDisk micro-SD on SD card adapter. Used before Samsung Class 10 micro-SD on SD card adapter with no problem and currently using Memento Class 10 32GB SD card from Korea with zero problem for many months already.

Just plug and play? Thought I rread somewhere that I need to format the card first? And where do I find the video player that allows me to change recorder settings?

No need bro. The cam will automatically format the card for you when you insert an unused card and start recording after it finishes formatting.

Who's fault?

IMO and no hard feeling, if you have brake hard enough,it would have been a win-win for both of the cars. I dun deny that vios was at fault, but to have a damage car for the new year where you needed it most, dun you think you also lugi? Sometimes such idiot does appear, we just have to be more careful. If an accident can be avoided regardless of who is at fault, just avoid it. No point damaging your own car and starts finger-pointing.

For some reason my cam isn't recording in parking mode like when i first got it. Now I only get N or E. No P

Normally it can last over night before the UPS cut off the power at 12.2V

Can't be my batt weak as i changed it a few months back.

The cam cuts off 5 mins after i off my engine and restarts when i on my engine

My car is OPC and i drive alternate days or once every 2 days.

Furthermore I dont cover large distances.

Could it be due to my batt just being at 12.2v hence the parking mode is not activated?

Is there a way to ensure my batt is fully charged?

Read that one needs to drive continously for 30mins.

Thats like almost next to impossible in city traffic.

Unless i head all the way to woodlands :)
