Taz 1st Gear April 5, 2013 Share April 5, 2013 Just got mine from the famous seller on eBay last week. Very fast delivery. Anyway, I tried to install it myself but I couldn't find the route the dashboard to the fuse box. Think I'll get a workshop to do it. Just want to ask, any car audio workshop will do, right? Can kind soul recommend me a reliable audio workshop in the west? Thanks in advance.

Tarquin 1st Gear April 5, 2013 Share April 5, 2013 Fuse box if inside the car quite easy...use a torch light and see the beam how it goes through small spaces thus that's an opening for the thin wires to go through.. I routed mine from the fuse box at the engine bay all within the confines of the MSCP till now almost a year of DIY install and still works like a charm...managed to harness the wirings after a day or two from the installation... Taz 1st Gear April 5, 2013 Share April 5, 2013 Thanks for all the replies. Really appreciate your help. I thought of going to Soon Lee, since many bros here recommended. But, it's really very far from my house. I stay in the far west. If possible, I would just want to find somewhere in jurong to settle it. For DIY, I did tried for an hour. Just cannot find the gaps to the fuse box. Not sure if need to dismantle anything. Bro Jtb, do you know how much ah Yong charges? Should be below $50 for a simple job right? Thanks. Taz 1st Gear April 6, 2013 Share April 6, 2013 Not sure if this has been mentioned before. I was seriously thinking of buying from dx.com before I got ITB-100HD because of the price difference. http://dashcamtalk.com/dash-cam-buying-guide/ At the end of the day, I think we need to know what we need i.e. a reliable device to capture clear video. No point getting one that is not reliable or unable to capture the license plate clearly.
Adrian_4781 Neutral Newbie April 6, 2013 Share April 6, 2013 u never go wrong with ITB100HD. more than sufficent, even with the 30fps (HPS720)..full HD is 24fps. i nver use that. been serving me more than enough...
GPunto Neutral Newbie April 7, 2013 Share April 7, 2013 anyone managed to get the SP version? i think this is the only high end car cam that use SD card (instead of microsd)? I will prefer the normal SD card cos it is easier to remove and more reliable than microSD
Taz 1st Gear April 10, 2013 Share April 10, 2013 Finally went to vim auto to install my video camera. Labour charges are slightly more expensive than Soon Lee, but it's okay lah. No point driving all the way to geylang to save a couple of dollars. Learnt something new there. The wires can actually be reached by removing the storage compartment in front of the passenger seat. Also, if the wire is not long enough, can remove the cup holder at the driver's seat to reach the connecting wires. Guess many bros here already knew this, but it's something new to me. Anyway, I found that the 8GB SD card can only take HD video for around 4-5 hours. If that's the case, a 32GB should be filled in a day. I'm wondering if it is due to something that I have set. Any bros can enlighten me? Btw, any bros here tried a 64gb SD card before?
