Ben5266 Supercharged November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 apps no need to connect one, just assign the accounts name on the iphone and they will show you all the apps purchased in the accounts, you can then choose to download, i only choose what i need, good for housekeeping too as i wonder how i get to 300+ apps in my accounts pics i cannot help cos men are usually not so cam whore [laugh] Ya... good thing about i device is.. you can have 300+ apps in your iTune but only download 30 on your iphone/ipad. Later you feel like adding one apps, just select and sync. To remove, just delete from the device. Pictures is really a bit mafun. I tried to download some pictures from my iPhotos to iPad... but iPad cannot view. Donno why..??? But to keep 2 different address book from 1 PC so that iPhone 1 gets addr book 1 and iPhone 2 gets addr book 2 is a bit challenging. ↡ Advertisement
Kazuo Neutral Newbie November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 (edited) It will be easier to download the app again instead of switching on your pc to sync that one app. In fact, apps that are not in your phone are likely apps you no longer need or want it anymore. Agree the doing the sync on shared pc is really a challenge to me. Seriously guys, the split second of responsiveness (in milliseconds) is a decision factor? Donut Supercharged November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 So how did you transfer all your pics from your S2 to the iPhone? Do note that as my GF is a girl, she wants to transfer nearly 2000 pics in various directories to her iphone. One solution for you. Delete all 2000 pics away....... problem solved. Elfenstar 3rd Gear November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 its very easy to do it. just set the itune setting and bookmark all the folder she want to transfer to her iphone. vola its dont faster than andriod. Let me see open two windows explorer windows and drag and drop (or one and copy and paste)... Or open two windows explorer windows and drag and drop all the various photo folders together (or one and copy and paste), then open up itunes, after going through all the authenticate the computer and authenticate the device crap, select a folder to sync then hit apply for it to sync. Which do you think is easier???? The bookmarks applies to music and videos within itunes only.
Elfenstar 3rd Gear November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 no. my wife ipad 2 have better respond then my iphone 4 and Iphone 3GS. in fact her iphone 4s is still more responsive then my iphone 4 I'm talking about the 5 being less responsive than other i devices. Elfenstar 3rd Gear November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 i wouldn't say 'responsive', it respond well to the touch, fast speed wise iOS 6 on iphone 5 is slightly slower, i wonder if they did it purposely especially when you flip a long message, it maybe too fast in the past, and the 'rolling' speed now is not as fast. Old people find it ok, young people may not like it When I do a tap sometimes it doesn't register. Quite annoying. That's what I meant about responsive. I don't really care for animation or scroll speed as long as its kinetic.

Why don't you sync one with Google (via carddev or exchange) and the other with microsoft or icloud?

Responsiveness to touch. My GF's 5 sometimes fails to register touch, esp at the two sides. I suspect I know why, and its annoying.

Elfenstar 3rd Gear November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 okay. 5 i haven try yet. will feed back to you when i bought it after contract end later this month Yeah let me know. I'm not sure if its a faulty device or its an annoyance because of the additional finger ignoring thing they needed to include due to the mini. I always pack my stuff properly in the folder. open two windows explorer. drag the photo i want to into the folder. after that hit on Sync. done liao. on different computer. yeah that is a bit troublesome. that is why you have something called icloub mah. iCloud only works on apple devices. Can't even function like dropbox. And not everyone packs their stuff properly, not to mention its a device to device move of photo's, and where the apps place them is something we can't normally change. at least respect other ppl choice mah. they like IOS, i like WP8 you like Andriod. all are person choice lah. let it be dont have to argue over which is better. Their choice is their choice. I am simply relating my crap experiences with iOS, and ranting coz I was doing it as I was typing. If others feel that it is suitable, or that they're willing to put up with it, then so be it. Doesn't change my experiences.

Elfenstar 3rd Gear November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 then use Skydrive The MSFT fanboi in me is showing I do. Ever since they came up with the desktop client, I've been using it for personal cloud storage, and drive (office account) for work cloud storage. Still none offers bulk downloads/offline access. Ever since they came up with the desktop client, I've been using it for personal cloud storage, and drive (office account) for work cloud storage. Still none offers bulk downloads/offline access. actually what i mean is you skydrive it.. afte that, just transfer all to phone can already. i didnt try on my iphone this form of transfer yet though. BTW, i had tried my colleague Iphone 5. the respond time is okay. better than my 3GS. also check with him how he compare to ipad 2. no issue. i also tried what you mention slight touch at the edge. yap. not responsive there. i think your suspected reason is correct. it might be the OS treat that as accident touch. Anyway end of the day. Iphone 5 is screen size is good for ppl who bring a tablet out. other than that. go for Note size phablet will be good.
