Toys from the mid 80s to 90s

My favourite toy from the 80-90s is Lego. It has been around since the 50s till today so technically I think it counts [:p]

 

The modern pieces are very slick and thanks to the interweb, you can find instructions to build many stuff you like.

Hmm...centurions, mask, he-man, starcom, i also got a set of miniture vehicles with a transport ship, cant remember the name.

 

Here is a picture of one of my starcom toy i took when doing spring cleaning b4 cny.

I very poor one. In 90s, I always just use 50c buy "?" Packet Tikam, or 50c coin machine "Ball" Tikam where they have small gundam sd-like robot to assemble and play.

 

Afterwards just play computer games haha.

there's this toy where u hang a string from wall to wall and slide the character along the string. cant rem whats that called. very short-lived.

 

can only buy one toy per year and must be top 3 in class. grew up in poverty. the most expensive toys were bought by my late grandma. whenever I see the old toys I am reminded of her. She dotes on me the most.

suddenly feel like crying now. :(

Last time no money to buy Macross toys, so parents only buy the cheap knockoff Macross sharpeners.

Can transform and also can sharpen pencils....but transformation sucks, quality very bad and easily broken...

Haha, i also got the good guy plane, both the big & small and their attack vehicle. Just that i never take the picture, haha :P

 

Oh yea, i remember, its call Micro Machines! The mini toy cars set i have, haha

I'm sure granny must be happy of she knew of the fond memories you carry for her.
