By the way you also has some fault. You should not high beam him. He maybe get piss off with you high beam. If you just overtake him on the left just like the taxi nothing much would have happened. Why put yourself into such dangerous situation?

 

i'm on TS side this time round, if you did anything below 90km/h on the 1st lane you deserve to get high beamed

how can you provoke others into beating you then later blame others for beating you up?

i was in the same situation as u, returning from jb 3am after exiting BKE into PIE.

 

was behind this MRS on lane 1 travelling at 70-80kmh.

 

in the middle lane was a taxi travelling same speed.

 

 

So knowing how insensitive some sgporeans ar, i normally give them ample notice for them to know i am there, maybe 20sec or so, keeping a 2-3 car length

 

 

i jus did a light blink, MRS started to slow down n tap brake.

 

Fine, i filter to lane 3 and then filter back in after overtaking the taxi, MRS speed up and refuse to let me in, so i continue to travel on lane 2,

 

MRS then slow down and went behind me and started flashing me.

 

I move over to lane 1 to let him pass. he came alongside me, it was a si gina, confirm pre-ns type and he was pointing to the front and gesturing me to a race.

 

 

i ignore him and he went behind me to poke me agressively and started revving and bigh beaming me.

 

 

its a sat night so i am quite relaxed... he came beside me and started gesturing me to race again.

 

 

i continue to ignore him and he started to come poke me again.

 

 

next he overtook me n play brake again.

 

this time he really pisses me off...

 

he went behind me n try to poke me again

 

i told me gf to brace for impact and i timed him to start poking me again, just when i saw the headlights disappear behind my spoiler i slam on the brakes.

i switch to lane 2 and waited for him to come, this time its my time to gesture him and i will gesture him to go road shoulder to have a good chat.

The purpose of me posting such video is to show such drivers with such mentality on the road. If I wanted to get back to him, I wiuld have done what some of the drivers would do by going to his front to slam brake. He is just too childish where I m a family man with a young son. Once we start family, mentality will change as well. If many would have noticed from my clip, I just treated him like a clown, let him go and act alone in the stunt acts and of cos let him have his full ego since his partner is just beside him.

 

And to Yrvsport who make the comment above on me promoting camera, I do hope you understand that whatever you say in your post above just proved your age and state of mentality. Whats there to promote since cam are so common nowadays. Moreover the cam I used are those cheap ones

This refers to the feedback provider's willingness to testify in court should the offender dispute the offences alleged against him.

 

5. Full particulars of the feedback provider

 

This refers to the full name (as in NRIC or passport), NRIC or passport number (work permit or employment pass numbers may be accepted), address (residential or mailing but "PO Box" addresses should not be accepted), contact number (residential/office number accepted but mobile number preferred) and email address (should the feedback provider have one).

 

6. Photo/video evidence or particulars of independent witness(es)

 

Photo and/or video evidence submitted in relation to the incident must be sufficiently clear so as to identify the nature of the alleged offence as well as parties involved. The same requirements apply to photo and/or video evidence submitted by both the feedback provider as well as the alleged offender. Photo and/or video evidence must not be acquired while the evidence provider is driving unless the device used to acquire such evidence is affixed to the vehicle. Particulars of independent witnesses refer to the name and contact information (e .g telephone number, email address, etc) of any independent witness(es).

Why stay on Lane 1 when you are travelling at 90km/hr, side by side with the vehicle on Lane 2? It is common sense and basic courtesy. If you want to cruise and stay within speed limits, keep as left as possible. If someone else wants to speed on Lane 1, let them be - it is an overtaking lane afterall.

 

Can you say the same if the vehicle is travelling at 90km/hr on Lane 1 and there is an ambulance / SCDF vehicle at the back? No need to give way because he is "right"? Do the same stunt and get the ambulance to kiss his rear bumper?

I like this part..this morning got a stupid SantaFe S999X plate cut into my lane within close range and somemore without giving signals. I have to avoid him thus hitting the road side scratching my rims and tyre. Regret didn't install video recorder earlier. Really curse and swear at the driver. basket [furious]

just curious about tailgating since some of the bros here mentioned that i am tailgating. Usually how do you guys drive?

For me, if you looked into the video, i leave about 3 car lengths away and it is still considered as tailgating?

then how many car length is appropriate then? Same like what was mentioned in the theory?

8 car length since he is travelling from 86-> 83??

perhaps 5 cars' length if convert from miles to kilometres per hour, depends on what's in front of him, road condition, etc.

 

Anyway cut hoggers some slack, allow them opportunities to move aside (which also means allowing yourself other rooms to manoeuvre should the hogger be daydreaming).

 

Do not just jump onto anyone suddenly and expect someone in front to give way which is dangerous too.

Why is TS at fault for high beam? High beam cannot, horn cannot then car should not have this feature?

yup, agree with you. the intention to high beam by TS is only to ask the driver to give way. I wonder why is it wrong to do that. If the road hogger is offended that is his f**king problem. Road Hoggers should be put off the 'fast' lane!

Should follow driving school recommendation of 2s gap. There is no offence for tailgating cuz usually when they pull you over for tailgating they consider it under inconsiderate/dangerous driving.
