I tilted the rear mirror alreay..the SD card slot is blocked by the rear mirror beam..quite difficult to take it out.

Nevertheless, hope I do not need to take it out.

Thanks...I will get a sandisk soon!

Regards.

Bro

No need to tilt rear view mirror, the cam can "slide off" to the right (when u are seated facing the windscreen).. After u pull out the power cable, u can just pull the cam to the right and it comes off.. then u won't be blocked if u wanna take out the card

I have the FXD700 front n rear set for roughly over a year odd. not the worst neither has it been good.

Worked well on the 1st couple of weeks. Limited sw upgrades

Month 1-3

Overheating

Auto shut down

Auto Restart

Month 4-6

No recordings

Overheat

Auto Restart

Month 6 - 1 to 1 exchange (applaud distributor for the support)

Repeat the above with bonus added

No recordings when needed - ZERO

Still hot to touch

GPS connects after i reach destination 20mins after driving off.

Recording prompts starts when reach destination as well.

SD cover drops off

TBH.... i've heard horror stories.... and this is exactly not far off either. Its just display purpose.

Hi, I bought the F550 a while back, and would like to ask how do i extract/save the rear camera video.

The video file, when opened under VLC, came out the front camera video and the rear camera (under direct3d output) at once.

Not sure if your problem has been solved. :)

I will suggest you use the supplied Software from thinkware to view the video.

If you really want to use VLC,  under VLC menu "Video", then "Video Track" you can select between "Track 1" and "Track 2".

I personally don't have good experience with Sandisk for Dashcam. They are good for other purpose when they seems to get spoilt easily under high heat in Dashcam. I have at least 2 Sandisk ultra that didn't lasted very long. I have since switch to Samsung microSD which has been in the Dashcam for over a year.

My unit is a F550.

I am using the Samsung EVO 64GB micro sd card from I got from Amazon.

See

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Class-Adapter-MB-MP64DA-AM/dp/B00IVPU7AO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1467470330&sr=8-4&keywords=samsung+evo+micro+sd

F550 doesn't really support 64 GB. You need to format the micro sd card to FAT32 then, you can use it on F550. I assume the newer F750 can support 64 GB or maybe higher ?

Yes, the F750 unofficially supports 128gb.. I am using the Samsung evo 128gb for 3 weeks on my F750... So far so good

Just curious, I am wondering if it make sense to upgrade from F550 to F750 ?

F550 has served me well over the past years, no major problem at all, works extremely well and save me in a few bad situation. And also a separate case of reporting a night accident to TP. But the F750 parking time lapse recording, and the 1080 Rear Camera is attractive. However, the price quote of $678 (front and rear) is quite a turn off.

I think you meant F770? Since this latest model has parking time lapse

I just installed F770 but there were always background static noise from the downloaded video when the audio recording was enabled. With audio recording disabled, there is no noise at all.

I went back to ZMC, tested with a new set and the same noise was recorded. Any bro installed with F770 can confirm it?

hi guys, just bought a F50. The video recordings are very poor quality. In the day very hard to see number plate when on the go. At night is even worse.. Anyone know whether there is something setting I can change?

Did you check if there is a film protector covering the camera lense?

I'm also using the F50, video quality is good for both day and night. Can see the licence plate number clearly at night. You can check/ change the brightness setting via the Thinkware viewer

Just for sharing, bought  64gb Samsung Evo Plus micro SDXC card for my Thinkware F750 and it works without any error messages.
