If their roles are reverse, where Nissan is best seller, I bet the SE will react like that, its unfortunately a common mind-set here, where their attitude & service level depends whether their business is good. When Toyota was best seller, you go in their showroom, also no one entertain you.

During Nissan "peak" in the year 2000 where their Sunny was selling like hotcakes, their showroom was the only one open during Chinese new year eve.

The sales person that serve us is excellent and explain everything in great detail even though it close to the closing time.

Was so impress with Nissan service and after sales service that we got 2 nissan from them and nearly got the 3rd nissan - the cefiro.

Did not get the cefiro in the end cause wanted to get a conti.

Another excellent AD is Volvo, got a S80 from them and was impress by them [thumbsup]

This 2 example shows that even when you sell alot of cars, you still can be humble and provide good service.

TCM (Nissan) is totally different. I have seen them on their "high" and their behaviour was more than alright.

Turbocharged

When Toyota was the top no. 1 seller for several yearson a row, the sales people were very arrogant.

VW Macpherson and Leng Kee branch collected over 100 orders just these 2 days on 18 and 19 May, with 60 plus backlog orders, mostly for Golf and Jetta 1.4. Don't expect Cat A COE prices to dip.

People behaviours can be changed with measurements/KPIs (for better or for worse).

Wearnes has 3rd party customer service surveyor coming after you even for aftersales servicing.

As in any part of the world got good, better and best, also got bad, badder and baddest lor. You find them in garmen, companies and what have you not, even neighbors. Haha quite a lot of them too [laugh] , have two living next to me.

But a good car is a good car, I would just ask for another sales staff and will think of a way to do this in a nice way. Sometimes difficult but will try while I also dun want the person to receive a yellow card or lose his/her job just because up on the wrong side of the bed.

My lost if i was to compromise my decision. Better the sales staff $$$$ lost than mine and I am not necessarily always impressed by first time impressions although I do agree it can make quite a difference.

IMO that is. [cool]

Correct, this has also for sometime now the same with the other big boys. Being more proactive appears to be the ever increasing direction.

So nobody tells these prospective owners about the "wonders" of the 7 speed DSG gearbox? [sweatdrop]

The sales pitch of VW is that the batch of cars from 2012 onwards don't have DSG problem.

Only time will tell.

me and my family went there on 1st May 2013 at around 2pm. 4 of us went in, a group of sales wearing Polo Tee were just siting at the counter talking. we walked from the left end of the showroom to the extreme right end where the Jetta was. we look at each and every single model but no one came to serve us. We walked back to the left end where the beetle was. Mind you , we took around 20+ min to look at all the models.

At the beetle show car, I look up and look at one of the sales. After looking at him for 1 min, he finally saw me and came over. I asked him about the advertised $120k jetta. He told me here dun have. On display only got the $140+k one. I ask him whats the diff between the 120k and 140k jetta. he just answer me " equipment".

I was so pissed. I asked him whats the diff btw the equipment he just answer cruise control and foglight then he walked away.

KKN damn du lan. we walked out immediately and went to nissan. Nissan was good. once we enter, a sales lady came to talk to us. Even Richburg motor was good.

Freaking VW. My father swear he will not buy from VW.

Anyway i went back to send a complaint letter to their feedback email. And there was a auto reply to say that it will get back to me on the next working day. Guess what? till now still no repy...

Well you are not alone. If I can buy VW online I'll do it instead of shopping at their showroom. Should write-in to their regional director to wake up their idea.
